Chrissie Swan Instagram – The biggest lesson so far from my #OldLadyEuroSummer is this: when you say something out loud, the universe seems to conspire with you to make it happen. I mentioned to @tiffdunk in the @womensweeklymag that I would like to go and walk and just BE for a month in Europe solo as a gift to myself for turning 50. I hadn’t even considered the logistics or if it was even possible and I just sort of blurted it out and to be honest, I thought nothing more of it. As always – I assumed there would be just too much to organise, too many people to inconvenience, too many other bills to pay, too many pets (and kids!) to billet out etc etc…
BUT. I said it. And little by little the road rose up to greet me. And here I am. In Europe for the first time ever at the age of 50. Thank you to everyone who bent a little to make this seemingly impossible dream come true for me. I’m here! IT’S HAPPENING! Stay tuned for more (once I’ve had a little rest 😂)
It took me about 17 different plane trips to get here 🤪 BUT I AM HERE!
The treasures are OFF THE CHARTS and I am weeping with joy a lot 🤗
