Your voice is being silenced. @POLITICO, @FOXLA, and @USCDornsife have chosen to lock out candidates who represent 20% of voter support from the first California US Senate debate on January 22, 2024. And also concerning— they gave no clear criteria for this debate. The protocol for any political debate is to release transparent criteria by which candidates qualify. This was not done. For context, the first Presidential primary debate allowed candidates with 1% polling to take the stage. The three of us who were excluded have a collective nearly 20%! This isn’t about me— it’s about giving voters a chance to hear from their chosen candidates, and not just the three establishment Democrats that the media has pushed since day one. They are choosing the candidates you vote for, and that is not right. This is why we keep electing the same leaders and getting the same results. Voters aren’t even given the chance to hear from voices outside of the political machine. We must change this, urgently, for the future of our country. We are asking that Politico, USC, and FOX LA reconsider this very undemocratic decision, and let voters hear from all top-polling candidates for this first debate. If you agree that this is outrageous and wrong, please head over to @POLITICO, @FOXLA, and @USCDornsife and let them know, or share this post and tag them. Let your voice be heard! #peopleoverpolitics
Did you watch tonight’s U.S. Senate debate? We have the three establishment Democrats who spent the whole time pointing fingers at Washington — they are Washington! They tried to score political points by using buzz words and talking points, and offered no creative solutions for some of our most pressing issues, like homelessness or the border. There was no mention of our failing schools, or mental health crisis, and they spent TEN minutes talking about Donald Trump! The biggest thing missing from that stage: leadership. We have better options, and they weren’t invited. #SenateShowdown
One of the biggest problems in California is that our leaders have repeatedly underinvested in education, and specifically, early literacy. 60-70% of California’s kids don’t read at grade level by third grade. Statistically, those kids are exponentially more likely to end up homeless or in jail. Meanwhile, we are arguing about banning books our kids can’t even read. Let’s stop the distractions and focus on these foundational issues first. ChristinaforCalifornia.com
This video is from back in February, during my campaign, when I was asked whether President Biden should be the Democratic nominee. It was considered very radical to say no at the time, and I got some flak for it, but all I could do was be honest. We have watched repeatedly as leaders insist the President is strong and ready to lead. We see that was disingenuous. We must stop playing politics. We need to be honest. There is too much at stake. #peopleoverpolitics #theissueis
It was an honor to meet Moran Stella Yanai who was held captive in G@za for 54 days. She is bravely sharing her story, even with those who have the polar opposite viewpoint (second slide). The second slide is particularly powerful because many in the encampments engaged in “anti-normalization” tactics in which they simply would not acknowledge the existence of Jews. It is rare to see this kind of dialogue, but it’s much needed. I still believe it’s the path to healing and peace. We cannot be in our echo chambers, we must engage with those who think differently. When we don’t, we can become hard to the world and lose our humanity. Moran said her biggest fear is that the news cycle moves on, or the world forgets, because once that happens, it is normalized to take hostages. And the things we take for granted are no longer safe— like going to a music festival. Thank you for your incredible bravery, and sharing your story despite the pain you’ve endured. May peace come to the Middle East. #bringthemhome

What a week at the NATO summit! NATO is the strongest alliance the world has ever known, during the most unstable time we’ve seen since the Cold War. The 32 allies made key decisions on how to protect the one BILLION people within their territories. Check out my NATO highlight from the last couple days to see how history was made, and what top officials are saying about the growing concerns around the Presidential election.
I love our firefighters and first responders. Always have. And to be honored in a room among them is frankly something I don’t feel deserving of, because they are the heroes! Thank you @_ocfireauthority_ @ocfireauthority for honoring me with the inaugural OCFA Media Shield Award, which recognizes media partners for their “exemplary contributions to public education and safety in collaboration with the OCFA” … it’s YOUR team including the great @gregbarta and @pronounced_tang who made the partnerships possible. Thanks for letting me take on multiple assignments with you where I had to sign my life away 😂 And more importantly, thanks for all you do. A huge shout out to @bridgetownleatherco for making this beautiful award! They are so talented!! The OCFA foundation raises money to support OCFA firefighters and their families. Please consider a donation at OCFA.org or fallenfirefighterrelieffund.org.

It is a great honor to receive the endorsement of Rabbi Marvin Hier, a legendary spiritual figure who has committed his life to fighting racism and promoting peace. Rabbi Hier founded the Museum of Tolerance, and even played a diplomatic role in the birth of the Abraham Accords. He shares: “Christina Pascucci embodies the qualities we need in a leader for this critical moment in our nation’s history. She has the right kind of experience, spending extensive time in the Middle East and in conflict zones, both as a war correspondent and humanitarian. She understands the imminent threat posed by extremist groups like Hamas, and has been outspoken against the disturbing rise in antisemitism throughout the world. Her unwavering dedication to justice, compassion, tangible solutions, and her tireless pursuit of truth make her the right candidate to navigate the complex challenges ahead. In a world that demands unity, Christina’s commitment to bridging divides and fostering understanding is a beacon of hope. I am proud to endorse her for the U.S. Senate, and I am confident she will champion the values that bind us together.” You are an awe-inspiring man, Rabbi, and it’s an honor to have you in my corner. I will continue to speak out against all forms of hate, extremism, and antisemitism, with the ultimate goal of fostering world peace. Thank you 🙏🏽

How insane is it that the U.S. is one of about only 6 countries in the world that doesn’t have paid maternity leave?! Paid maternity leave not only creates a stronger foundation for families, but also fuels economic growth by getting women back in the workforce. It’s time we prioritize supporting families, education, and all the foundational issues of a thriving society.
Such a special day celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy with so many of you at the #KingdomDayParade! One of my favorite MLK quotes is “True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar; it understands that an edifice which produces beggars needs restructuring.” This holds true today. When you look at homelessness, for example, throwing money at the problem clearly isn’t enough. We must address the systemic issues that contribute to homelessness, like our failing education and foster care systems. I heard so many of you share today that you agree it’s time for a restructuring. I love you, California. My dream for each of you is to feel like the California dream is within your reach. #mlkday #mlkday #mlkquotes #mlkjr
A conversation with California Senate primary with journalist turned US Senate candidate @christinapascucci. We talk about immigration, crime, education, and bipartisanship. She is running for Dianne Feinstein’s former seat as a Democrat, but is critical of both parties, and talks candidly about what’s broken in our politics.
When I was on Skid Row last week, I witnessed the power of second chances through Markelle. While serving a life sentence at San Quentin, he turned his life around through rehabilitation programs offered in prison. While Markelle signifies hope, Skid Row magnifies all the failed policies in our state. We can do better: Let’s prioritize mental health as a pillar of healthcare. Let’s push for mandatory care for our most mentally ill. Let’s realign our priorities— instead of lowering standards to graduate, let’s improve foundational issues like early literacy and education. Let’s support families, especially when it comes to childcare and family leave. Let’s spearhead research in alternative mental health therapies ie psychedelic therapy research, rather than focusing solely on pharmaceuticals. And, let’s throw support behind transitional age foster youth as a key pillar to fighting homelessness, since half the homeless population has been touched by the foster care system. Thank you to @gordonphilanthropies @skidrowrunningclub and Judge Mitchell for the work you do to transform lives like Markelle’s. 👏🏽 Appreciate you including me in this inspiring morning.
On this #WorldRefugeeDay I want to highlight the incredible work of Children of War Foundation ❤️ COWF believes all children have the right to quality healthcare and education, regardless of geographical boundaries. From Gaza to Ukraine to Haiti, COWF has impacted the lives of more than 60,000 children since its inception in 2010. I feel incredibly blessed to have been one small part of it after being inspired by their powerhouse founder, Amel. These photos are from some of the missions I’ve joined in the Middle East, Ukraine, Haiti, and Navajo Nation. Please consider supporting them in their quest to support children and refugees around the world. Cowf.org/donate
