Dear friends,
Here we meet again in the South! Each summer, we have the pleasure of hosting tastemakers and creative visionaries, collaborating, connecting, and convening under the summer sun. Spontaneous escapes with friends from all around the world lead to endless explorations of the Aegean coasts. The Turkish Riviera easily captures their hearts, and with every new year, we, too, fall in love with our beloved Bodrum over and over again.
This year was no exception. Following his own travels, our friend and artist Conor Mccreedy pens a special poem, handwritten in his signature blue pigment, an ode to the Turkish coasts. His monochromatic blue language aligns so perfectly with the palette of the Mediterranean. It’s a true ESCAPE hue, a blue to dive into, to get lost in, and to dream amongst.
Our Bodrum diary continues with this year’s ESCAPE ambassador, cover star, and contributor, Dilan Çiçek Deniz. Dilan is the ultimate ESCAPE woman. Creative, carefree, and curious, she perfectly captures the energy of this season. Together with photographer Marcin Ziółko and the ‘74Escape and ‘74Studio teams, we spent an unforgettable day with Dilan discovering hidden gems of the Riviera.
