I’ve seen a lot of cloisters in my day…but none quite compare to Gloucester Cathedral. #cathedral #churcharchitechture #cloisters
Huntly Castle, Scotland…if you love Tudor history. It was Catherine Gordon, the 2nd Earl of Huntly’s daughter who married Perkin Warbeck who had claimed to be the younger prince of the infamous two sons of Edward IV that were never seen again after they went to the Tower of London…and whose uncle would become King Richard III. #scotland #castle #scottishhistory
Bamburgh Castle is so much fun to photograph it’s silly. But when you get condo rooms like this you just want to pinch yourself. 🏰💚 #tlk #thelastkingdom #bamburghcastle #history
The West face of Castle Acre Priory gives you a small glimpse of the glorious carving that might would have been seen all over this amazing church. Castle Acre priory was one of many monasteries in Britain that was bound to the mother Abbey of Cluny in France. This Abbey was quite possibly the wealthiest monastic house is the world. The monks at Castle Acre Priory would have had to travel to France to consult or be given direction from the abbots of Cluny. Interestingly, the heads of Cluny only came to Britain five times in the 13th century and twice in the 14th century. Castle Acre, because they were an offshoot of Cluny Abbey, had to send money to them. Even though most of the monks were English, Castle Acre Priory was still punitively taxed (read as possessions seized and money had to be sent to France) during the wars with France/ Burgundy in the 13th and 14th centuries. A formal charter of naturalization for Castle Acre Priory came in 1351 and it became considered a “native” English priory. #churcharchitecture #englishhistory #england
There are some places in the world that stop you in your tracks. The Quiraing on the Isle of Skye in Scotland is one of those places. #scotland #isleofskye #landscapephotography
This moment was spectacular. Things feel a little difficult right now for a multitude of reasons – financially, politically. But i am so incredibly thankful to experience moments like this and capture it forever. #castle #rainbow #landscapephotography
Can you believe this is my local waterfall?! As in I can quickly walk to this amazing place and take a breath and bask in the gorgeousness. #landscapephotography #waterfall #scotland
Muckross Abbey in the Republic of Ireland is a place I’ve wanted to come for years. It DID NOT disappoint. This 600 yew tree is so special. Nature is amazing. #tree #medieval #ireland #ireland🍀 #historical
🏰🎶🎶I like big castles backs and I can not lie …you other brothers can’t deny…🎶 🎶🏰 #scotland #castle

I do so love a Cloister! #churcharchitechture #cantebury #canteburycathedral #cloister
One of my most favourite places that we went to this year was Muckross Abbey in Ireland- Surrounded by beautiful Killarney National Park…sometimes you can just feel the history and the people who lived in these places. #ireland #historicsite #churchphotography
Can you imagine all that has gone through this gate? Caerphilly Castle….a castle’s castle. One of my super favorites.
I’ve never posted a photo of Hever Castle…mostly because it’s the most difficult castle to photograph that I’ve ever come across in my whole life. Virtually impossible to get anything without people- then if you can it’s the orange cones and metal line railings 😫. But no castle enthusiasts collection is complete without at least trying. So here is my attempt. 💚🏰 #anneboleyn #catsle #tudors
Blarney Castle in the Republic of Ireland….yes I tried to kiss the Blarney Stone- I almost had a panic attack in the attempt. Leaning over backwards and having your head bob down and seeing nothing but a drop wasn’t worth the good luck I might get from the kiss. 🙃🏰😘 #ireland #blarneycastle #castle
It might surprise you…but this is the castle, erm tower, that I look at every day on my watch. Of all of the hundreds of castles I’ve been to…this is the one when I look at my wrist I go 🥰🏰 #scotland #castle #medievalarchitecture
Nothing. Beats. The. Autumn. In. Scotland. 💚🏴🍁 #landscape #landscapephotography #scotland
This is my favorite waterfall in Scotland. What an amazing year of fabulous people, places, and joy 2023 has given us. May 2024 bring you adventures and love beyond your wildest dreams!
Dunskey Castle is situated on such a gorgeous dramatic coastline in Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland. Whenever we go my camera works overtime! #scotland #castle #landscape
I lllllllloooovvvveeee this fountain at Salisbury Cathedral so much. The patience you have to have to get a photo with no people in it is unparalleled. Truthfully you could go for weeks and it might not ever happen. This was a rare rare moment of glorious luck. #cathedral #churcharchitecture #salisbury
The Rock of Cashel has over 1000 years of history. It’s such a spectacular site and one of my absolute favorites in the Republic of Ireland. #ireland #rockofcashel #medieval
Mmmm Waterfalls in Scotland. 🤤 #soctoand #waterfall #landscapephotography
Possibly a fairy portal. But I can’t tell you for sure. 😉 In real life this is a ruin of a Mausoleum at Finlarig Castle. #scotland #castle #ruins
