Himani Chowdhary Instagram – 3 months back I reached 1M on instagram
I made a promise to myself and God and if I reach 1M in 2024, I will do something for the community to enhance financial literacy and what better way to do it with children.
I wanted to teach kids about money, because learning about it early is so important.
Soon I connected with @pehchaanstreetschool who told me they are teaching underprivileged children on weekends.
Cut to 7th July when I visited the NGO. The children were soooo excited to meet me,
I told them 3 stories of Ram & Raju who were brothers.
1st story was on Saving, second on Emergency Fund and third on Medical Insurance
Seeing those kids’ faces light up was emotionally overwhelming.
They were so excited to meet me, even though they didn’t know who I was
Leaving that place, I felt so happy and grateful. It was like my heart was full and eyes full of tears.
