A couple of years ago, I get a call from @orkedahmad asking if anyone could bring these trophies that belonged to (the many garnered) by Yasmin, which had been left at her house in Langkawi… I managed to get help off a dear friend Shada, and they were kept safe at @telagaterraceboutiquehotel till my visit last year…. Longer story short, I finally managed to bring them to Orked last night…. I think they will go to Yasmin’s museum. we had Such a lovely evening laughing, EATING, (with Talentime playing in the background) exploring Orked’s gorgeous space with a couple of Aruah Yasmin’s faves… with beautiful legged @meiling631 (I always think of you when I hear this masterpiece) & @syafienaswip who I’m happy to note is doing so incredibly well – sangat proud of you!! Jangan lupa pinkie promise ngan SR k… my heart is full. Alhamdulillah… and those dearly departed, you’re all so very missed. Life as shown in @abangadikthemovie -we know it’s there and happens but we ignore. Malaysia is a good place for social mobility but THE PEOPLE WHO CAN MAKE CHANGE IGNORE!!! The skillfully acute framing and captures by Kartik included the stench in the spaces they lived and worked. The diaspora of characters- I thank you, every one of you left an impression on me, from the terrified foreign workers to the quietly camp neighbour who’s love for the 2 brothers just left such an impact on me, the fear, the fear, the fear of the unknown, of being caught, and discarded, of not existing. the purest love between abang and adik was heart wrenching. I was completely invested in Jack Tan & Kang Wu Ren (oh my goodness your beautiful hand washing at the beginning) as the two- the quiet strong one and the manic younger one… Thank you thank you thank you…I am in awe… 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Bought from Tomatokidz for RM1,899/- (not shoppee, those pics are only for illustration) Plushies and cabinet below are NOT included. It’s really as good as new. Promise! Please come with own transport & carpenter to dismantle.

I repurposed my @maccosmeticsmalaysia bag a few years ago when I realised I just don’t use that much make up anymore 😅…tidying up our first aid kit shows you’re a bit accident prone…😅 I mean… how many tegaderm and opsites does one need!?? 😂
