S3 of Outer Range won’t be going ahead and I wanted to thank everyone for their loyalty and excitement and support for a show that felt very unique to us all.
I loved being a part of it and am so incredibly
proud of the work we did. This cast are my soul dingers, true friends, I couldn’t really ever get over standing alongside them.
This crew worked so incredibly and consistently and passionately in and around the faces and phases of Covid, strikes, thunderstorms, heat like no other, frozen nights, crazy hours, blonde actresses. Big love to the New Mexico crew members I’ve known for a long time- Tarra, Geordie, Jay, Forrest, JQ, Allison, and so many others.
Thanks to the great Brian Watkins for creating it, and to Charles Murray who stepped in on S2 with such grace, warmth and talent.
This show really changed a lot for me in and out and I leave with a full moon heart and a big grin. A very good friend once said to me. ‘just keep it weird’ and I hold those words close. I’m happy that the show will remain living in its true skin and not become alien unto itself.
Those sunsets knocked the oxygen outta me every day. The moon and stars. And then that sun came up again. That land is something special.
Josh Brolin you were a companion, a leader, a confidant, an ally, a goof, a protector, a cheerleader and an inspiration throughout. Love you deep my friend.
