These are words that many Filipinas have heard in countless moments over their lifetime, myself included. A phrase that, though sometimes unintended to offend, often wounds the heart.
So today, I’m here to remind you that our worth as women do not depend on achieving the timelines society has dictated for us, or the beauty standards we’re told to abide by. We are talented, skilled, passionate, aspirational all on our own and we get to write our own narratives.
So when a gloomy day comes around, and you find yourself questioning your worth, remember that beauty, tenacity, and value comes from within… and maybe a bright red lip by L’Oreal Paris might help boost the confidence. 😉 So sinong sayang ngayon?

First time back at the gym in a little over a year! Kakaiba talaga when you workout outside of your home in a proper gym lalo na sa Awaken. Sobrang na miss ko talaga! 🥹❤️🔥
What makes this so special is I now have a new workout buddy. Working out with Deia is one of the things I am looking forward to when she grows up. She’s definitely a strong girl! 💪🏾

I am so grateful that the community there has embraced Deia as well and have been so kind and caring to us. A plus is there is an extra room which I call Awaken Daycare where Deia can play while I do my workout. Maybe we should put up a proper one na? @culverpadilla 🥰

Deia and I visited Lulworth Cove on England’s south coast for the first time, with Ben leading the way. This is referred to as the Jurassic coast because a lot of dinosaur fossils are found in the limestone and clay formations here. Enjoying the outdoors with family is one of our favorite things to do when on holiday. 🤩
Strong. Confident. Woman.
Together, we will continue to break barriers. Together, we will continue to challenge the “sayang ka” mentality. We are worth it.
