Jo Frost Instagram – Millions of parents do not know the difference between AuthoriTARIAN & AuthoriTATIVE , they are even spelled similarly… look, you see, it can be confusing right? However as explained the two words are completely different parenting styles.
My style is not what you may read on your Google search, I educate with an authoritative knowledge with evidence based, intuitive lead practices, which plays a huge part in the wisdom i share energetically when immersively working alongside families, I haved continued to do so for nearly four decades. š
Many parents struggle because they do not take the time to question their style or to recognize the impact of such on their partners and children, when this happens it can lead to polarized parenting with passive aggressive outcomes with couples feeling divided.
Some parents on the other hand can’t see past their own passive parenting, they unknowingly impose their own unhealed strict upbringing onto their children called ‘PARENTAL PROJECTING’
The healing of the adult and inner child is necessary however raising children whilst doing so is no small feat and takes a lot of vulnerability… millions of families are doing so proudly and courageously!
So I ask you all to ponder….what is your style, and what impact is it having on your family?
