Jo Frost Instagram – This behaviour continues to surprise me with the amount of disregard parents have for the relationship their children have with the other parent. Yes they are YOUR EX…however, not your child. Be mature, step up, lead by example, yeah sure maybe 1 less pressie on your Santa list, but there comes a time when a young tweenager wants to reciprocate the gesture and spirit through a small token themselves. Remember it’s NOT about you but them. Tip: You can cap the amount if helpful, then have them look and choose, in novelty areas. You can buy ingredients for them to spend time making or baking something special. You can help them if they are older and have even saved their own money, going with them shopping.
