Armchair, permissive parenting, too afraid to do the right thing because we are sooooo afraid our children will hate us, too afraid to handle the situation at the playground whilst the other parent looks at you thinking to themselves, why have you allowed your child to hit mine without any repercussions, restaurant owners placing fees with children who have parents that don’t care about other people’s shared space. Teachers getting mouthed off by 7 year olds,leaving the proffesion because it’s not what they signed up for. Flight attendants apologizing for parents who allow their children to keep kicking seat ahead. Shop owners watching children bounce, break and touch everything. Parents parents I love you but you got to start doing your bit, both can exist. It’s gone too far for some. Rein in on some boundaries, some rules,some manners and respect some decorum, let kids be kids but enough of the anti social behavior – Jo Frost Global Parenting Expert and Childcare Specialist.
