Here are some GQ outtakes ❤️ From a young age, I have always had a deep admiration (obsession lol) for certain fashion houses. Dreams of being dressed by Gaultier, Dolce, Miyake etc. that once felt so far while I hunted for their pieces in thrift shops, cherishing each serendipitous find. It’s nothing short of surreal to now wear creations from these iconic designers. I was also feeling so much gratitude to my friend @roopal_patel for inviting me to join her team at the Issey Miyake show a while back… the first following his passing. I’ll never forget the feeling in that room. I often found myself wishing that I could wear his masterpieces while he was still alive, that he could see it… and this photoshoot represents a poignant realization of that dream. It finally came true, and not because I raided my God mother @valerie_von_sobel’s closet lol. I hope he would be proud. For me, fashion transcends clothes… it embodies a legacy and a commitment to continuing the visionary artistry that these remarkable designers have gifted us. And doing that alongside @haroldjulian who I have been working with no less than 10 years now is a dream. Grateful to the remarkable artists I have the privilege of working with for many years. I’ll never stop being a fan of fashion. I’ll never stop being the young girl obsessed with couture and the avant garde, playing dress up. 🥹
