DANDELION star @kikilayne will be performing songs from the film LIVE this Sunday, May 5 at @recklessrecords (1379 N. Milwaukee Ave) from 3pm to 4pm.
This FREE event will include a performance followed by a meet-and-greet with KiKi.
Special screening of #DandelionMovie with my family in Cincinnati at @esquiretheatre. Thanking God for my family that has supported me from the very beginning of this journey. Means the world to be able to share these moments with them.

Performed a sneak peek of River (Ten Feet Deep) from #DandelionMovie at Reckless Records in Chicago. This is the first song you hear in the trailer and this was my very first time performing any part of the song live. If you’ve seen the movie you know this song is a big deal (which is why I didn’t perform all of it 😉). And if you haven’t seen it yet: “Y’all make sure y’all get that ticket to see this movie.” Dandelion is in theaters on July 12! There are many parallels between American actress KiKi Layne (@kikilayne) and Theresa, an aspiring singer-songwriter KiKi portrays in the upcoming Nicole Riegel film “Dandelion.” Both hail from Cincinnati, Ohio, and both navigate the challenges of being Black women in the arts, seeking their place in the world. From KiKi’s breakout role in “If Beale Street Could Talk” to starring in Netflix’s “The Old Guard” and now her portrayal in “Dandelion,” KiKi shows us why she’s on Hollywood’s radar.
“Dandelion” will be released in select cities on July 12th.

Thank you @noah_j_harmon for helping me and @thomasadoherty with our guitar playing for #DandelionMovie. This is a very small budget film; so we didn’t have much time and resources, but with Noah’s help, there are actually a couple songs in the film that I actually did learn to play! And I had way too much fun pretending to play those guitar solos 😂😂
