Boxes of our stuff, packed for a move that he was doing because it was best for his family. Tying shoes for his daughter to wear to middle school prom because the shoes were perfect, but the laces still escape her defiant fingers. Photo taken from overhead because wife had gotten a face full of Covid and was waiting it out.
You don’t understand the gift Travis Hodges is to this world. His patient persistence. His eager learning. His kind joy. His ability to keep us safe from the wolves of modern day better than any trained warrior. He is the most magnificent human, parent and partner. I wish I were there to celebrate him.
