Laura Spencer Instagram – Sterlin Harjo directed me in my very first role on screen in his film Barking Water when I was still living in Oklahoma. It’s still one of my most treasured acting experiences. He’s been working his ass off for years making projects that give Indigenous artists a platform and tell stories that put Indigenous lives at the center and promote better and stronger representation. Today I got to be back in Oklahoma shooting a scene in @sterlinharjo’s PILOT that he created with @taikawaititi for FX. It’s crazy typing that.
