I’m glad I woke up this morning, and I’m glad I woke up in the middle of last night. I’m glad my body woke me up when my glucose levels went into the 50’s (a good range would be 90-110) in my sleep. I’m glad i’ve been able to hug my loved ones this morning and I’m glad I have this platform to share this with you.
Most Type 1 Diabetics will relate with me. Insulin dosing is a game that plays with your life every single day. You can’t fight it. You rebel, you go through diabetic fatigue, like fak that I won’t doze today. Like fak that I will eat that warm gooey banana cake and not doze, like fak that I won’t check my glucose today, I know what the reading will be and I don’t want to see it.

June 2023 exactly 12 months ago i did a solo trip to Costa Rica and Puerto Rico. Each day deciding where I want to be next, was living it up in Boqueron’, Puerto Rico, USA, where i bumped into Sherry who adopted me as her own. We danced, posed, ate sharks (2nd video), drank way too much 🤯 and ate all of Peurto Rico. We did a road trip, did a photo shoot and so many things in just 2 days. I loved the island life, picked fruit from the wild, pet wild horses (look at that tail !!), posed with random people all making merry and just partied like there was no tomorrow. I feel like the word Badass gets a lot of hate. Like we are not supposed to say that we want to be a bad ass.

Plants not only improve the air we breathe by releasing oxygen but also have a profound impact on our emotional well-being.
