✅Soiled notes refer to currency that has become dirty due to regular use, including notes made up of two pieces pasted together where both parts belong to the same note and all essential features are intact.
Denominations of less than ₹50
👉If the area of the single largest undivided piece of the note is more than 50 percent, then the full value may be payable.
Denominations of more than ₹50
👉 If the area of the single largest undivided piece is more than 80 percent, then the full value will be given.
👉 If the area of the single largest undivided piece is between 40 to 80 percent, then half value will be given.
👉 If the area of the single largest undivided piece is less than 40 percent, then no value will be given.
✅Mutilated notes are those with missing portions or made up of more than two pieces.
👉If each part has an area equal to or greater than 40 percent of the total area of the note, the full value will be given.
