Wearing my grandmom’s saree in this :’)
When I started enjoying wearing sarees, she, very generously, handed me some and this cotton one is one of my favourites among those. She’s someone who loves earthy colours and anything handmade.. You will always see her wearing a saree or salwar with some beads to go with it, the colours she’s drawn towards and the colour palettes she can visualise and bring together are so creative.
She’s also the first person to call me and share her excitement when she sees my work somewhere, whether it’s a post on Instagram or an ad on tv when she’s watching her serials. Grandmothers are truly something else :’) | Posted on 06/May/2024 15:00:06
