📍The Royal Gorge Train, Colorado Experience the majestic Royal Gorge Train journey from Canon City to Parkdale and back, winding through towering rocks and beside serene rivers. Enjoy unparalleled views from the open-air car, where every moment is a breathtaking adventure. The Royal Gorge Route Railroad offers spectacular views throughout the journey. Many consider this as Colorado’s grandest canyon. With 1,000-foot sheer rock walls on each side, an experience that only mother nature can create. Right along side the route runs the tumbling, rushing, winding Arkansas River – some of the most challenging rapids in the world. Here, wildlife is also abundant – from the open air car one may catch a glimpse of elk, big horn sheep, eagle or blue heron. With beautiful views from your balcony this place will instantly make you feel at home. Each cabin has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms along with a fully loaded kitchen, perfect for family trips. The cabins are cozy with a balcony, a fire pit and a porch. They have about 50 cabins, a hot bath tub and a huge swimming pool along with a clubhouse that has some good books and games to choose from, they also have an area where you can play badminton or simply spend time in nature with your loved ones. The staff was very very cordial and the cabins were extremely clean. If you are lucky you will see elks here. We saw some deers but we were happy with that too 😁We had a great time here. 2. The Estes Park Resort. @estesparkresort This was our first choice to stay at, however we were a little late to book. They get booked out pretty quick as they are located in one of the best areas of #estespark Right by the #estesmarina where one can spend a whole day walking around the lake or choosing from multiple activities. 📍coffee on the rocks We had one of the most amazing time in #estespark #colorado and this coffee spot was one of the highlights of the trip. Located just a mile before you enter the #rockymountainnationalpark this place was one of the cutest spot and a must visit when in the area. It open 6:00 am to 2:00 pm and had good breakfast brunch options. We were travelling with the family, and we were looking for jain options, and they helped customize a sandwich according to our preference. I got Java chip frappe and it was amazing !! The seating by the lake was perfect if you are looking to spend some time out in nature. So many people came in with their art kits and were painting or simply reading a book while they sip on a coffee. We had a great time here.
