Rethika Srinivas Instagram – It is a steam engine train run by the darjeeling Himalayan railway (UNESCO World Heritage ) . It was an experience to see how the steam engine operates . The smoke was tooooo much and after a while it was difficult to breathe even in that scenic , pollutionless place . It goes to the highest railway station in india called Ghum. It is situated in Darjeeling Himalayan hill region at an altitude of 2,258
It is the world’s 14th highest railway station.
We can also reach there by a toy car which is much cheaper than the heritage train . I used both the trains and it gave different experiences .
