We are calling ALL VISUAL ARTISTS to create protest art for this moment in history as we fight for comprehensive immigration reform with a pathway to citizenship THROUGH the Registry Bills H.R.1511 and S.2606!
The THEME is “INDIGENOUS NOT IMMIGRANT”
Your artwork should reflect issues, stories, and movements related to immigration reform and Indigenous identity, emphasizing the voices and experiences of Indigenous people wrongfully labeled “immigrants” on their own ancestral lands. A piece that will make people realize their true identity, and empower them to gain the confidence to demand their basic human rights!
How to Enter :
– Develop a piece of digital art, painting, or drawing that resonates with the theme.
– Share your artwork on Instagram and TikTok
– Tag @snowthaproduct @flowerinspanish @artbyayala @celebrationnationorg
– Use the hashtag #IndigenousNotImmigrant in your post.
– Include a brief description of your artwork and its significance in your post.
– Encourage your friends and followers to like and share your post.
– Submit by August 8th to be eligible for the contest.
– There will be 10 picked winners who will win $500 each. Winners announced August 14th.
A second contest will be announced after August 14th where other types of artists, music, photography, journalism, fashion, makeup etc will be invited to enter their art. There will also be 10 additional winners for that contest. Making a total of 20 winners that will split $10,000 winning $500 each.
