Danielle 'Danz' Johnson - 4.3K Likes - Y’all old timer CM fans are probably aware that I been obsessed with vintage TVs for a while.

I used to have a whole collection of ‘em just stacked on top of each other in my old music studio (see Amnesia vid). The white Panasonic one (seen in the first photo) was my friend @jer_____________ ‘s that I would borrow constantly for random things like the last @channel9records @synth_history pop-up shop in New York.

Anyway, I got rid of all the TVs. A lot of them didn’t work anyway or didn’t even have an RCA hookup (I got them for the way the static looks). I also moved into a small studio apartment in Manhattan where I had no space (we’re talking mini-fridge and twin bed type of place, no room for excess non-working TVs).

Needless to say, I finally got another one today. It’s working and I now have enough space for it in my studio here in Glendale.

So here’s to VHS players and analog things. 🖖

It has already been used on such Danz CM tunes as “School Lunch / Cafeteria Blues” and “Mancini Morricone (Minimoog Version)” and even makes an appearance in the Roger O’Donnell Synth History photoshoot!

Also - I HAD SO MUCH FUN presenting Alejandro Jodorowsky’s The Holy Mountain last night for @synth_history over at @vidiots - it’s one of my all time favorite films, so thanks to everyone who came out (and also a big ‘ol thank you to @weyesblood for screening your new vid beforehand directed by @ambarbecutie it was amazing).
