Caption : Heaven was fortunate today to have received this angel. My Mom was the most original mixture of beauty and toughness I’ve ever known. She lived and loved fiercely, and the family unit was always to be treasured and never abandoned. Any room was better with her in it, and her storytelling style riveted the toughest of crowds. I will miss the perplexed look on the many waiters’ faces when asking for a large glass of ice to accompany your Chardonnay, and I will greatly miss the outlandish, and sometimes admittedly inappropriate, laughter that we extracted from any situation. One person’s choice is not better than others…just different needs and preferences. ⠀ (unless your diet is oreos and diet coke)😂⠀ ⠀ But what if you have NO idea of where to start? What to eat? When? What do you eat on days you workout? What about days you don’t? There is a lot to figure out and it can be overwhelming. ⠀ ⠀ That is why my group for June is all about nutrition. What are you needing help with right now?” Her: “My life sucks. I am overweight. I am depressed. I don’t know how to start, I eat to feel better, but I feel worse. I try to get up but I find myself sitting all day in front of the TV. I don’t sleep well because the ugly thoughts in my head keep me up all night. Every time I try to do something good for me, my husband tells me I can’t do it. My head is beginning to believe him but my heart keeps telling me to keep trying. My kids yell at me and I feel worthless. I am in a vicious circle”. Heartbreaking 💔right? You might even relate..a little or a lot. She bravely declared her challenges to me and we got to work. Here’s what I said: Like Dorothy (WOZ) you have the power all along. It begins with YOU. No one can come in and SAVE THE DAY. You must decide 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐈 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐲𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 and I make the changes to shift my life. In my groups, we start with mindset. As my girls transform their bodies physically, we fuel their minds mentally with PD. When our minds are fueled with good thoughts & empowerment…our day begins to shift. The stories we tell ourselves either move us forward or hold us back. These limiting beliefs are just thoughts and thoughts can be changed…not overnight, as those thoughts weren’t created overnight. Different Energies in your life require you to CREATE THEM. Different Voices require you to seek them and LISTEN. Different Outcomes require you to take DIFFERENT ACTION. Different patterns require you to BREAK THE CYLCE. Your super power is creating the energy, flow and vibration you need to elevate. Most women want structure, confidence, relief and calmness…especially when life is out of control.
