Gina Carano Instagram - A lot of people don’t know this but before I was cancelled/fired and I knew we would be doing a lot of red carpet press…

I flew out this lovely woman from Colombia whose sister was staying with me at the time. We went and picked out material and I designed and showed her exactly what I wanted to do… I absolutely fell in love with the designing process and I know what I like, I know when it’s working and when it isn’t. But then alas I was fired and have had no reason to wear them.

The reason I did this was I ran into so much trouble finding stylists to style me in LA because most of the stylists only styled smaller sample size women. So, I decided to make my own dresses, hoping to one day branch that out further .. presently I have about 3 or 4 beautiful dresses I hope to wear one day. Omgosh.. they’re just gorgeous, so proud of the work we did. I hope to show them to you one day. ✨

This isn’t one of them but I felt like posting something that made me feel pretty today. I love playing dress up every once and awhile. 👄

Gina Carano Instagram - I was in a lot of pain here but I understand why the hardship needed to happen. It doesn’t make it easy but it does make it worth it to know it will hopefully make it much harder to demonize and cancel people based on lies and a witch hunt in the future. History will not be kind when remembering these past few years and how a political agenda and propoganda made people treat their neighbors. To those who stood strong and endured the hardship, I stand with you. Gina Carano Instagram - This is the only time I sat down while waiting in line for 4 hours to vote it was right before I walked in to cast my vote but I am smiling because it really felt like it would make a difference to put an end to 4 years of absolute evil & destruction.

I know this is just the beginning and there is more storm ahead maybe a storm we have no way to conceptuallize but maybe a storm we are more equipped than ever to handle because at least now we know what the agenda is.

For this past week and this moment I breathed a sigh of relief, we the people, showed up, made our voices heard overwhelmingly and I am so proud of all of you. It all started with some of our small shaky voices, the first ones through the door and we paid that price but it was worth it for this moment.. We were blessed in helping wake people up during a time, we didn’t stand a chance against the machine, but we spoke anyway. Now so many non shaky voices are power housing through. Makes me so excited, I’m smiling. Rebellions are built on hope. God is my hope, come what may.🕊️

And for the people who are experiencing melt downs right now, we endured you going to the extent of castrating children for the last 4 years, trying to normalize pedophilia, flooding our nation with death, rape, overdoses and murder, allowing our government to weaponize big pharma against us, you brainwashed children against their own parents, amongst some of the most evil things I could’ve ever imagined our nation would ever tolerate. Then you have the audacity to turn around and say we are taking your freedoms. You have lost nothing but the ability to castrate children.🪞

You found our line and you trampled on it. Go out into nature, maybe try and reach out to God, you just never know, there is forgiveness for all of us. None of us is perfect. I’m not happy you hurt but I am furious of what you tried to push on us. And now you know, where that line is. Glad there’s some clear communication, that’s a good start of understanding and possibly healing. ❤️‍🩹

Gina Carano Instagram - This weekend is striking me much more intensely than it ever has.

The crucification and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

What Jesus went through.. the way He remained silent to the priests and elder’s accusations who had arrested Him out of envy.

How the priests and elders persuaded the mob to crucify Jesus instead of the notorious criminal Barrabas.

The way Pilate was persuaded by the mob and Pilate washed his hands of it and said, “I am innocent of this man’s blood. The responsibility is yours!”

The way the soldiers mocked Him, tortured Him and crucified Jesus as the mob mocked, cheered and watched. The details of this utterly break my heart.

And in the midst of it all while being crucified, He saved a man who was being crucified next to Him saying, “Today you will be with me in Paradise”.

How on the cross being in excruciating pain He asked for forgiveness for those who were crucifying Him. “For they know not what they do.”💔

And Jesus did it all so that we could be washed clean and enter into heaven to be with Him.

My prayer is that more than ever in the history of the humanity, God receives thankful prayers of love for the sacrifice He made and hearts open and receive Him into their lives this weekend.

That He sees the gratefulness in our hearts for this life we have been so blessed to be given to stumble and journey through with Him.

I also pray mercy for us all that He comfort and be with us every step of the way when we pick up our cross and say, “Here am I, send me.”

This is a fight I believe will go down in history as the fight that changed the game for female mma fighters, yes the Cyborg fight was groundbreaking as well but that wouldn’t have happened without this fight.

There are women who paved the path to making this fight happen who I am grateful for, where people will never even know their names.

Ground breakers are a tough breed. You start something you love and then everyone else comes up behind and it becomes trendy and those people reap the rewards the ground breakers wouldn’t have even dreamed possible because they were just doing it for the love of the sport or art or passion of what they began.

Here’s to the groundbreakers, those are the stories I want to hear more about.

Don’t let people squash your spirit just because they can’t see or feel your dream. Let them laugh and mock while you stay dedicated to what is in your heart. It’ll all work itself out in the end. Have faith.

Gina Carano - 108.9K Likes - Hearing the news of Carl Weathers passing today is shocking, I’m going to struggle through these words…

I was so looking forward to giving Carl the biggest hug at one of these fan expos I heard we were both going to be at this year. I looked forward to that reunion.

Carl called me directly after I was fired. I wasn’t in an emotional state where I could pick up the phone because of how upset I was, but we did end up speaking later on. He was gentle and encouraging and didn’t want me to give up, he was letting me know that he wasn’t throwing me away, he was trying to keep my hope alive in what seemed like quite hopeless scenario, he showed me he cared. That is who he was.

I bonded with him very closely on Mando season 1&2. Jon Favreau felt he would be a good mentor for me because we shared the athlete turned actor bond, so Jon had him direct my first episode in season 2 of Mando. I believe had we gotten to Rangers of the New Republic, Carl would’ve directed me in much more. Jon F was right, we were a great fit.

Carl was a mentor to me on set, he would put both his arms on my shoulders and look me directly in the eyes to calm my spirit. He had a wonderful perspective of telling a story that can only come through his experience and wisdom that he shared with me to help make me shine. I cherish those moments.

I adored making him laugh, I always wanted to figure out how to make him smile, where the corner of his mouth would start to crack and I knew I had him, then out came his bellowing laugh. His laugh I can hear clearly now. His laugh that I will miss dearly.

His big booming voice echoed throughout the stage and you just knew, this is what a movie star truly is.

He obviously shined on screen but man did he light up with such passion in that directors chair.

I’m going to miss my friend and mentor and that mischievous little sparkle in his eye. He was one of the greats and quite a ground breaker. I am flooded by all the precious memories we had together.

Caption : Hearing the news of Carl Weathers passing today is shocking, I’m going to struggle through these words… I was so looking forward to giving Carl the biggest hug at one of these fan expos I heard we were both going to be at this year. I looked forward to that reunion. Carl called me directly after I was fired. I wasn’t in an emotional state where I could pick up the phone because of how upset I was, but we did end up speaking later on. He was gentle and encouraging and didn’t want me to give up, he was letting me know that he wasn’t throwing me away, he was trying to keep my hope alive in what seemed like quite hopeless scenario, he showed me he cared. That is who he was. I bonded with him very closely on Mando season 1&2. Jon Favreau felt he would be a good mentor for me because we shared the athlete turned actor bond, so Jon had him direct my first episode in season 2 of Mando. I believe had we gotten to Rangers of the New Republic, Carl would’ve directed me in much more. Jon F was right, we were a great fit. Carl was a mentor to me on set, he would put both his arms on my shoulders and look me directly in the eyes to calm my spirit. He had a wonderful perspective of telling a story that can only come through his experience and wisdom that he shared with me to help make me shine. I cherish those moments. I wish so badly we didn’t lose these innocent interactions as we moved into adulthood. I used to hate my “angels kiss” and now I love it. Usually when adults point it out, I say God knew I’d be a fighter so He gave me a good smack on the way down to prepare me for the hits I’d take.☺️

I was so tired and heartbroken from the past few years.. I am intensely sensitive and so all of what has happened in the world and personally has been damaging on every level for me. I know a lot of you feel me on that. I’ve seen how hard it’s been on so many of you and how many of you don’t talk about it but I can see the familiar heart break in you.
I knew it was going to be really hard to recover from what I went through personally so I pulled back, became a bit of a recluse and really paid attention to healing. Now I can say I am finally feeling the positive effects of going through that process. I feel grounded and genuinely happier than I have ever been with a much deeper desire in my heart to push on. I have a peace I have never experienced before. ✝️
I share this because I feel a lot of people can relate and I want to remind you all out there that sometimes you just need to allow yourself to heal before moving to that next step and getting back to fulfilling your dreams.. don’t lose hope, maybe you just needed to rest, heal and let that desire grow and become more grounded.🤍
