Ian Hubert Instagram - Woooo!!! First things first: all these little guys (and more!) are available over on the patreon! This is literally the hardest thing I've ever tried to figure out, but gosh darn I did and it feels good. I've been photoscanning my friends for the past few months, and finally have them rigged up so they work easily with mocap, which means finally I can have fairly realistic backgrounds characters living in my blender scenes. Ian Hubert Instagram - Animated this traffic light system with just two keyframes, offsetting the UV data in a mapping node :D Each light gets its own column in the control texture, which feeds the strength of an emission material. The countdown was maybe overkill, but was also really fun to map out :D I know stuff like this has probably been done a billion times in games, but it’s so great to not have to set up all those keyframes.
