Don't you have any idea how much money is spent and how many months it takes to organise an event of this magnitude? Not to mention those who have bought tix to watch the other bands? Being famous does not give you the right to behave disrespecfully in public. Whatever your opinion or gender preference is, we are not interested to know. You are suppose to play music! A 3 day event has been banned just because of YOU! Are you and your bandmates proud of yorselves over this? So many performers that have flown over are unable to perform due to your selfishness & stupid act. Its people like you that puts a very bad impression on the music industry. Ida Nerina Instagram - Do you know why this Car is parked OUT Of the #disabledparking blue box, nearer to the wall? Narrowing that empty space which could fit a small Car. This clear space is GREAT for a wheelchair user driver as It’s a healthy distance from the wall. The reason for this seemingly selfish act is this- 4 years ago, this same Car was parked INSIDE the blue box and some genius Kancil/myvi Car driver decided to park in that not designated for Parking bay. This thoughtless act HIGHLY INCONVENIENCED all others concerned. Said driver Of this black car was stuck. And would have been for longer than the 2 hours had the Parking attendant not assisted her by driving this Car out Of the Parking bay, so she could get into the Driver seat. Traumatised, she never Went back to this Mall until last week. 4 years including MCO…. It was Good to see this space still exists tho. Thank you @thestarlingmall for maintaining it. I’ll let the rest Of you mull over that incident this sunday morning.

After months, nay, years of us complaining to each other - January 2017 Tini, Lina, Salina, Nadeeya and I got together and we went for it! Thanks Tini for jumpstarting it. We met too many scared young women, with no one to turn to for help. Some unwanted… others eager but not able to provide for their yet to be born child. We met incredible people who strive so hard to make life just a little bit easier for these women and girls. (Al Fatihah Vimmy) I’d like to hope we made a good difference to their lives. We even roped in our own toddlers to help…😅 We must say a special thank you to our champion, Nadeeya , especially during the MCO, where requests for baby boxes were flooding us- and being the nearest to the office, she almost single handedly made it happen. And we managed to send out nearly a hundred boxes, despite the situation of that time. 5th March 2024. We packed up the last of our @babyboxmalaysia and divided all the remaining new and preloved clothes for babies & toddlers to be passed on to various parties for distribution for those who need. What an incredible journey and lesson this was for all of us involved. We managed to do pop ups for awareness, held intimate talks about breastfeeding amongst others. Thank you to all our incredibly kind supporters @drypers @happikiddo to mention a couple…(and others I may not have mentioned here…) But you should know… NONE of this would have even seen the light of day without your kindness Mariam thank you thank you. What an honour it was to be a part of this. It was a bit emotional for Nadeeya and I as we packed up but it is what it is…. We soldier on. Onwards and upwards! (Deep down, I really hope this endeavor gets taken to next level… because so many women need help.)

We packed up the last of our @babyboxmalaysia and divided all the remaining new and preloved clothes for babies & toddlers to be passed on to various parties for distribution for those who need. What an incredible journey and lesson this was for all of us involved. We managed to do pop ups for awareness, held intimate talks about breastfeeding amongst others. Thank you to all our incredibly kind supporters @drypers @happikiddo to mention a couple…(and others I may not have mentioned here…) But you should know… NONE of this would have even seen the light of day without your kindness Mariam thank you thank you. Ida Nerina Instagram - A couple of years ago, I get a call from @orkedahmad asking if anyone could bring these trophies that belonged to (the many garnered) by Yasmin, which had been left at her house in Langkawi… I managed to get help off a dear friend Shada, and they were kept safe at @telagaterraceboutiquehotel till my visit last year…. Longer story short, I finally managed to bring them to Orked last night…. I think they will go to Yasmin’s museum. we had Such a lovely evening laughing, EATING, (with Talentime playing in the background) exploring Orked’s gorgeous space with a couple of Aruah Yasmin’s faves… with beautiful legged @meiling631 (I always think of you when I hear this masterpiece) & @syafienaswip who I’m happy to note is doing so incredibly well - sangat proud of you!! I’ve been trying to figure out how to give my 2 sens towards making sense of this piece (see what I did there?) without revealing the all important piece/s of the jigsaw that would spoil it for others who haven’t been to see it. TBH when I first saw the teaser poster all those months ago- I thought “oh okay, here we go… a Malaysian take on Eternal Sunshine of the spotless Mind…” (prev typo…) Which would mean Imaginur would have to make the cut to be anywhere near my all time top 3 favourite film. But I go, to support the creators, the film makers, the players, people involved, the industry… And truth be known, I always go into a film ready to suspend disbelief and allow myself to be immersed and go on the journey they want to take me on. Within 10 minutes I thought, “okay, artsy lah… deliberate lines delivered deliberately… kenapa lembab? Kenapa blur sangat dia ni? I just loved everything about it- the high production values…Jin Ong’s direction revealed that this was an important story he wanted to share with us… and the restraint Jin Ong held on to is evident as it’s not always easy to write and direct as we become too close and invested to the piece. Life as shown in @abangadikthemovie -we know it’s there and happens but we ignore. Malaysia is a good place for social mobility but THE PEOPLE WHO CAN MAKE CHANGE IGNORE!!! The skillfully acute framing and captures by Kartik included the stench in the spaces they lived and worked. The diaspora of characters- I thank you, every one of you left an impression on me, from the terrified foreign workers to the quietly camp neighbour who’s love for the 2 brothers just left such an impact on me, the fear, the fear, the fear of the unknown, of being caught, and discarded, of not existing. the purest love between abang and adik was heart wrenching. I was completely invested in Jack Tan & Kang Wu Ren (oh my goodness your beautiful hand washing at the beginning) as the two- the quiet strong one and the manic younger one… Thank you thank you thank you…I am in awe… 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

(unfortunately so for Graze) but major points for mama as the kid felt soooo special because we had the place to ourselves…with the full attention of the waiting staff-lucky us! Created by #nadineBehsir of @dinnertimestory the Banquet of Hoshena was fun and magical… and the whimsical menu was delicately curated by chef Nicola of Graze, supported by such Fabulous service by Radzlan, Mark & Sean! I’m going to back to Graze soon to have that southern Italy pasta from your new menu! (I just found out AFTER dinner that the banquet of Hoshena actually only do kids menu at weekends lunch time…so, thank you for accommodating us!)

I have no idea why I hadn’t been to @entierfrenchdining before… apprehension about my own logistics maybe… which was totally fine. I had to hold myself back from licking the bowl after demolishing my seared tuna niçoise. My friend, Diane, had the prawn & mango which seemed so layered and intricate (she’s the one in the mirror,not the body 😬). We both had the wagyu & foie gras (I know I know… pls don’t judge me) and shared the most delicate chocolate soufflé. Next time we’re ordering our own 😂. The portions were more than adequate- not pretentiously small nor was it overly hearty & rustic as if in Province… Goldilocks would’ve approved me thinks… Service was attentive without being obtrusive. Maths could be improved (inside joke)… but really… merci… I will be back. C’est vrai.

Ida Nerina Instagram - What child doesn’t love the circus?I was romanced by Enid Blyton’s adventures, of sizzling sausages for breakfast with jugglers and knife throwers, trapeze and balancing acts… so Ever since @melindalooi invited us to the circus, I just look forward to seeing the @swissdreamcircus every year. If there’s a circus you get to see, make it this one- this year’s show especially, it’s TIGHT! There’s not a single act that you’re like “urmmm…” they performed 3 shows on Saturday(!) you can feel their energy push through any exhaustion, to give YOU, the audience, entertainment. And entertained we all were, (our kids were munching away at their popcorn, fighting their swords… giggling and dancing) What a really fabulous evening out. The reason for this seemingly selfish act is this- 4 years ago, this same Car was parked INSIDE the blue box and some genius Kancil/myvi Car driver decided to park in that not designated for Parking bay. This thoughtless act HIGHLY INCONVENIENCED all others concerned. Said driver Of this black car was stuck. And would have been for longer than the 2 hours had the Parking attendant not assisted her by driving this Car out Of the Parking bay, so she could get into the Driver seat. Traumatised, she never Went back to this Mall until last week. 4 years including MCO…. It was Good to see this space still exists tho. Thank you @thestarlingmall for maintaining it. I’ll let the rest Of you mull over that incident this sunday morning.

Within 10 minutes I thought, “okay, artsy lah… deliberate lines delivered deliberately… kenapa lembab? Kenapa blur sangat dia ni? What a loser…Tak per…ride it out…” I swallowed my confusion, and went into the “Groundhog Day”, still suspending disbelief… “how or why did they break into a house!?” etc etc (IYKYK). I just loved everything about it- the high production values…Jin Ong’s direction revealed that this was an important story he wanted to share with us… and the restraint Jin Ong held on to is evident as it’s not always easy to write and direct as we become too close and invested to the piece. Life as shown in @abangadikthemovie -we know it’s there and happens but we ignore. Malaysia is a good place for social mobility but THE PEOPLE WHO CAN MAKE CHANGE IGNORE!!! The skillfully acute framing and captures by Kartik included the stench in the spaces they lived and worked. The diaspora of characters- I thank you, every one of you left an impression on me, from the terrified foreign workers to the quietly camp neighbour who’s love for the 2 brothers just left such an impact on me, the fear, the fear, the fear of the unknown, of being caught, and discarded, of not existing. the purest love between abang and adik was heart wrenching. (unfortunately so for Graze) but major points for mama as the kid felt soooo special because we had the place to ourselves…with the full attention of the waiting staff-lucky us! My friend, Diane, had the prawn & mango which seemed so layered and intricate (she’s the one in the mirror,not the body 😬). We both had the wagyu & foie gras (I know I know… pls don’t judge me) and shared the most delicate chocolate soufflé. Next time we’re ordering our own 😂. The portions were more than adequate- not pretentiously small nor was it overly hearty & rustic as if in Province… Goldilocks would’ve approved me thinks… Service was attentive without being obtrusive. If there’s a circus you get to see, make it this one- this year’s show especially, it’s TIGHT! There’s not a single act that you’re like “urmmm…” they performed 3 shows on Saturday(!) you can feel their energy push through any exhaustion, to give YOU, the audience, entertainment. And entertained we all were, (our kids were munching away at their popcorn, fighting their swords… giggling and dancing) What a really fabulous evening out. Thank you & Kudos to Marco & Ismail & the whole troupe! Stay tuned all- I may be doing a little quiz for tickets giveaway!! 🎪

Caption : What child doesn’t love the circus?I was romanced by Enid Blyton’s adventures, of sizzling sausages for breakfast with jugglers and knife throwers, trapeze and balancing acts… so Ever since @melindalooi invited us to the circus, I just look forward to seeing the @swissdreamcircus every year. If there’s a circus you get to see, make it this one- this year’s show especially, it’s TIGHT! There’s not a single act that you’re like “urmmm…” they performed 3 shows on Saturday(!) you can feel their energy push through any exhaustion, to give YOU, the audience, entertainment.
