Patricia Isaac Instagram - Happy Saturday Friends 💞☀️
Patricia Isaac Instagram - Sundays. Do you have a Sunday practice? Pre-pandemic I definitely did. Morning time greet the day like a child, have some thankful solo time, meet a friend or two for coffee across the street from church, head over to service. Unless I was serving (volunteering), then it’d be up at the crack of dawn (7am on a Sunday is the crack of dawn), try to make the mandatory tshirt look cute, and focus on remembering why I was going in the first place - to refuel, remember, connect, listen, and if given the opportunity, to be there for someone else. •
Since this whole thing, keeping a practice has ebbed and flowed. But one thing I seem to keep needing to re-learn, is that everything Great in my life - in, around, and through me - happens when I’m aligned and connected with God first. The bigger I allow that gap to get - with sneaky distractions, old bad habits, allowing time for the wrong (for me) things/people, external validation-seeking - the more I slowly start forgetting the incredible life I’ve been given, forgetting all I already have that I used to pray/hope/wish for, forgetting the astounding amount of real Love in my life, forgetting the clear purpose I’ve been given and able to continuously live out (note: purpose does not equal career - it just involves it), forgetting the unlimited possibilities on the horizon, forgetting my vision, forgetting the miracles, forgetting the times I almost left this plane and vowed I’d use this second chance to give my all and love with my all, forgetting my personal design, forgetting that all I seek and desire Truly comes from inside and above me. As it does for all of us. •
Thing is, like with anything important, it takes more than a weekly “re-fuel” to keep it running at its full potential. So although that’s my Sunday intention - to refuel - it’s also now my intention to check in on my maintenance practices, to see if/where they need tweaking. It can be harrrrrrd at times, especially this last season, but we can do hard things. We’re worth it. •
Love to you all today. And all the days really ✨
Patricia Isaac Instagram - Happy Winter Solstice Friends ✨ Maybe keep an eye out for the Christmas star tonight. Maybe think about what makes you happiest in your life right now. Or maybe just celebrate longer days coming after tonight. ❄️ Love, P.

Patricia Isaac Instagram - No. Joke. Evvvvverytime I’ve hit an alleged “roadblock”, and been able to muster up a little rebellious joy and hope regardless, God’s been like “Annnnnd here’s why. You’re welcome.” (with a wink and a pat on the head). • Happy Monday Friends! 🥰☀️

Patricia Isaac Instagram - I love this reminder, though I get it’s not always easy. • One of my favorite hacks (ps I can’t say this is a proper use of the term “hack”) is this - I play “what if” in a fun way, as opposed to ruminating on “what if” in a fearful way. Suddenly I’m lighter, more confident, more grateful, more joyful, more generous, more all-the-good-things. • That’s all I’ve got for now. Happy Wednesday 🖤

Patricia Isaac Instagram - Happy Independence Day 🇮🇳 • Thank you to my Grandpa who was a part of the movement that lead to this. First in the Indian Army, he was a brave and brilliant man who went on to become a beloved Zoology Professor at his University in South India. Jailed and released for protesting, he was one of the most respectable, protective and patient men I’ve known my whole life 💛 #DearIndia

Patricia Isaac Instagram - The reason behind #challengeaccepted #pınargültekin - when I thought the “challenge” was simply about women telling other women “I think you’re an amazing human, let’s celebrate one another”, that seemed like a light and fun little way of doing it. • This hashtag, however, is about so much more. Indian, Middle-Eastern, Black, Indigenous, Asian...so many experience femicide. This challenge brings it to our attention even more • Please swipe right - slides end with the face of Pinar. 🖤#ThoughtsPrayersAndACTION

Patricia Isaac Instagram - This clearly doesn’t apply to surgery...but I personally abide by it. Jumping in the deep end, willingness, starting before you “feel ready”, curiosity humility and trust. Feel the trepidation, fear even, and try anyway. Apply for that job, start that business, help that community, mentor that kid, ask that person out, ask them to marry you even, write that book/film/letter, offer your personal testimony, your ideas, help that parent/senior/stranger with their dream. We’re only here for so long and you have more inside than you think. ❤️

Patricia Isaac Instagram - Here we are! At the final round of “21 (Quarantine) Questions” 😫/🙏🏽. It’s been SUCH a joy - and what a perfect way to wrap! • Several moons ago, I was just a newbie actress in my first casting office, but lucky for me, reading on the other side of the camera, was the very present, wildly generous, crazy talented @vivleacock 🙌🏽. After my audition, he came out and gave me the best encouragement I could’ve asked for. I got the job and I blame him 💛. • Now a dear friend, I’m excited for you to meet this unstoppable performer - from tv to film to animation to stand up - this one continues to do it all with excellence. • As always, we’ll be keeping it super real and super fun. Hope you can play with us today at 11am PST on IG Live! ✨ #21qqswithp

Patricia Isaac Instagram - I love the Mr. Rogers’ quote that reminds us to, amidst the pain/ disasters/ troubles/ tragedies, to “look for the helpers”. Even when that “helper” is you. • There is so, so much to be in awe of and thankful for, at any given second, but I definitely have moments of focusing on what “isn’t”. • This prayer is really for me to remember, more than it is for God to hear. ❤️
Patricia Isaac Instagram - It’s a good day to have a great day. Happy Monday friends ❤️
Patricia Isaac Instagram - Phew do I ever need to remember this. I’m huge on prayer because I’ve experienced the, often instant, power and validity of it since I was a stressed out, tiny kid. From small things to big ones (although size is relative) I’d pray like I could feel and see God intervening, then be so relieved, or overjoyed, that I’d forget to be as intensely Grateful. Love this reminder @aaronwhitela • Happy Sunday Friends 💛

Patricia Isaac Instagram - This movie was a special one for me for three big reasons.
1. I grew up obsessed with rom-coms. That hasn’t changed.
2. I grew up obsessed with Christmas. That too, has not changed.
3. After 27 different characters, this was my first time as a “leading lady” (said with immense gratitude and with/without an Audrey accent).
-
Growing up, my rom com icons were Meg, Drew, Sandra, Julia, Jennifer (all the Jennifers). Not once did it occur to me that I had never seen one where the woman being pursued was South Asian. And if on the rare occasion I did see her (hello Sarita alà #MississippiMasala 😍) the story had a strong focus on her ethnicity. Which was beautiful and necessary and groundbreaking at the time.🙌🏼
I love my culture. Thing is, as a Sunday School going, Christmas celebrating, little girl whose folks met in SASKATCHEWAN CANADA, I didn’t entirely relate to those stories either. I loved watching movies about Diwali, but never experienced it myself (ps I’m open to invites 🙋🏻‍♀️).
-
“Merry Magic Christmas” tells the story about a girl, who just happens to be South Asian, named BETH.
(Fun fact: IRL Indian people often ask me what my “real name” is. I swear to you it’s simply Patricia.)
Beth loves the heck out of her sister and her niece and will do whatever it takes to look out for them. If she happens to fall in love along the way, so be it. If she also happens to bake Christmas cookies, decorate trees, and go to a Christmas market, so be it x2.
-
Thank you with my whole heart to @lifetimetv @itsawonderfullifetime @annandbethcasting @reeloneentertainment for trusting me with Beth Mackay.
Thank you @brianruberry for your story, @ameliaburstyn for your creativity and incredible support, @cassandraphillipsgrande for the most 🔥 wardrobe & always looking out for us.
Thank you @anddunbar for your talent and warmth, @aadiladosani for being the best sister, @mela_pietropaolo for lighting up the set, @misscoreywoods for your contagious laughter, and @jeffgonek for your sass.
Lastly, @aubreyarnason 😭. So grateful for your inspiring, powerful leadership and your massive heart.

Patricia Isaac Instagram - The one and only time I will ever be posing like this. #BarbieMovieForTheWin🥇
Patricia Isaac Instagram - It’s. Been. A. Year. Thank you to everyone of you who added to one of the most memorable years of my life so far. Packed with big beautiful Firsts, a slate of miracle blessings, and so so much Love. I’m grateful for it all. And can’t wait to see what blossoms in this new year. Happy Birthday to all my 7/11 brothers and sisters too! ❤️
Patricia Isaac Instagram - And that’s a wrap on three of my favorite weeks of 2023 so far. Thanks to this beautiful group of humans that made my first time as the lead girl in a rom com (playing out my Sandra/Meg/Julia/Jen dreams) the most joyful and gratifying experience I could ask for. Hope you get to watch it & hope it makes you feel all the good things - this Christmas season.

Patricia Isaac Instagram - LA Friends Invite Alert!
Event for a Cause✨

The Andrés y María Cárdenas Family Foundation (AMCFF) has been working to create real change in the community by providing scholarships to underserved high school and college students in the San Fernando Valley since 1997. They have awarded over $1.4 million in scholarships to over 1,300 students, and are proud to say scholars have a 95% college completion rate, so your donations are making a difference.

To honor their 25th anniversary, they have an ambitious goal of raising $1,000,000. To help achieve this they are hosting the LA Tequila Fest September 24th. With over 3,000 guests expected, this will be a FUNNN event where tequila lovers can discover and sample over 70 award winning tequilas and mezcals, while enjoying live dj sets, gourmet food trucks, a misting garden, boutique marketplace and fun lawn games. If you’re a non-drinker, you can still come enjoy the latter! Can’t come, but would like to support? Just DM me 💛

Hope you can join me in supporting an amazing event for an even better cause.

*Note: when purchasing your tickets, please enter board member, “Matthew Barron” so I know to expect you
**2nd Note: The first photo has nothing to do with the intention of this post. Just me saying hi with my face really.

Thanks so much to the wildly talented @reid_carolin and @channingtatum for being the kindest, funnest (not a word) directors around. • Whether you’re someone who’s been in the military, know someone who has been, love dogs, are on the fence about dogs, or simply enjoy a great story…I hope you get yourself to the theatre for this special movie. Love, P. 💛

Patricia Isaac - 162 Likes - Sundays.

Patricia Isaac - 60 Likes - I love this reminder, though I get it’s not always easy.

Indian, Middle-Eastern, Black, Indigenous, Asian...so many experience femicide. This challenge brings it to our attention even more • Please swipe right - slides end with the face of Pinar. 🖤#ThoughtsPrayersAndACTION

Patricia Isaac - 33 Likes - Here we are!

Patricia Isaac - 32 Likes - I love the Mr. ❤️

Patricia Isaac - 31 Likes - Phew do I ever need to remember this.

Patricia Isaac - 3 Likes - This movie was a special one for me for three big reasons.

Caption : This movie was a special one for me for three big reasons. 1. I grew up obsessed with rom-coms. That hasn’t changed. 2. I grew up obsessed with Christmas. That too, has not changed. 3. After 27 different characters, this was my first time as a “leading lady” (said with immense gratitude and with/without an Audrey accent). – Growing up, my rom com icons were Meg, Drew, Sandra, Julia, Jennifer (all the Jennifers). Not once did it occur to me that I had never seen one where the woman being pursued was South Asian. And if on the rare occasion I did see her (hello Sarita alà #MississippiMasala 😍) the story had a strong focus on her ethnicity. Which was beautiful and necessary and groundbreaking at the time.🙌🏼 I love my culture. – “Merry Magic Christmas” tells the story about a girl, who just happens to be South Asian, named BETH. (Fun fact: IRL Indian people often ask me what my “real name” is. I swear to you it’s simply Patricia.) Beth loves the heck out of her sister and her niece and will do whatever it takes to look out for them. If she happens to fall in love along the way, so be it. If she also happens to bake Christmas cookies, decorate trees, and go to a Christmas market, so be it x2. – Thank you with my whole heart to @lifetimetv @itsawonderfullifetime @annandbethcasting @reeloneentertainment for trusting me with Beth Mackay. Patricia Isaac - 3 Likes - And that’s a wrap on three of my favorite weeks of 2023 so far.

Love, P. 💛
