Rena Sofer Instagram - I saw a woman about to surrender this beautiful 6 year old girl at @lancasteranimalslaco . I was there with a rescue to transport and rescue a dog inside and I had to stop her. I asked her to walk off the property with me and asked her if I could take her dog instead of putting her into the shelter and she said yes. That was the best day of “chikas” life because barely a week later she went into her new foster to adopt home through 4 paws K9 rescue. Look at her happy sweet face in the arms of her new owner! There is so much sadness in the world today so we have to find our moments of light. Saving dogs, even one at a time, is my way. One of the greatest stories ever told was BJ’s heart. Jackie was inspirational in her role and her work was heartbreaking and breathtaking. You will be sorely missed Jackie! She came to me through @4pawskiddorescue and my dear friend Ed! She is ADORABLE!!! She is about 1 year old. She was adopted from a shelter after being found on the streets and then instantly returned to the shelter when it was discovered she was pregnant. So Ed and his rescue pulled her and he immediately called me. It’s like Channukah and Christmas and my birthday all at once!!! #fosteringsaveslives and I love to #foster I cannot wait to share her journey with you and all her puppies on the way. She has maybe 3-4 in her belly according to the vet and she has under 2 weeks left till she gives birth. Rena Sofer Instagram - Soooooo….. last night…. Iris had 5 puppies!!!! I don’t know the sexes yet because I don’t want to distress her but she is the best mama!!!! She cleaned them and is nursing them and she is so protective of who gets to be near her and them!! I LOVE YO #foster because this experience is just incredible!! It’s my second time #fostering a pregnant dog and it’s just my favorite!! Please consider it. The shelters are overflowing and with a dog like Iris they just euthanize her while pregnant. Thankfully she was rescued by @4pawskiddorescue and brought to me. Boy will I be picky about who gets her and her babies and it isn’t even up to me!! Rena Sofer Instagram - It is with great sadness that my family has lost our beautiful Princess Carolyn. She has crossed the rainbow bridge to be with our other lost loves Lola and Iggy. A brother and sister who may not have known her but will be welcoming her to her with open paws. We fostered her during the pandemic and gave her love and comfort and safety the last 4 years of her long life. She came from the streets and shelter life and deserved a beautiful home full of warmth and love and that is what she got. Out of all of our dogs she was always everyone’s favorite. I cannot urge everyone enough to please foster and open your hearts and homes to a dog or animal in need. The older ones are really the best because they just want a safe space to lay their heads and feel peace. Princess was such a gift to our family and we hope we did her proud. Caption : Everyone meet Iris!! I have been wanting to foster again but my goal was to foster a pregnant Mama. Well this is Iris. She came to me through @4pawskiddorescue and my dear friend Ed! She is ADORABLE!!! She is about 1 year old. She was adopted from a shelter after being found on the streets and then instantly returned to the shelter when it was discovered she was pregnant. So Ed and his rescue pulled her and he immediately called me. It’s like Channukah and Christmas and my birthday all at once!!! #fosteringsaveslives and I love to #foster I cannot wait to share her journey with you and all her puppies on the way. She has maybe 3-4 in her belly according to the vet and she has under 2 weeks left till she gives birth.
