To create a superhero that looked like me from somewhere in my brain was always a challenge. I want to thank everyone that helped make this film possible, starting with Alan Ladd Jr,who greenlit the film with his team at MGM, my wonderful All-Star Cast and my brilliant creative team behind the scenes. I really wore all the hats on this one, writing, directing,acting and producing, it can be a lot! Oh my God! LOL! And last, but not least I want to say thank you to the millions and millions of fans that have loved on this movie for 30 years. God bless you all. It reminds me of a day after one of the test screenings. I was hiding in the parking lot waiting after the screening for feedback and a little kid discovers me. He had to be 8 years old,first he looked at me surprised, then with a mischievous smile said “You got anymore of that meteor left?“ The last photo is one of my favorites with two people I truly admired Frank Gorshin, who played THE RIDDLER in the original Batman series in the 60’s and my favorite singer of all time Luther Vandross. I asked Luther to be in the film and said, “I want YOU to play a hitman in my movie”He laughed,a hitman,then he goes,”When does it shoot?
