Samar Qupty Instagram - 1 year ago, on 13.12.18, the nightmare I was fearing daily for the last 12 years have happened! I got my baby Beagle as a birthday gift, and that was and still, the best gift i've ever got. Since that moment on my whole life has changed. This small creature opened my heart like nothing or no one else did before. And with this "little" change, the whole life perspective of mine has changed. Beagle taught me what patience and acceptance mean. She made me realize that fear is dynamic, and so are we. We can control it and turn it into power if we really want. Beagle made me realize that I am stronger than I think I am, I am more faithful to my beliefs than I think I am, I'm a better decision maker than I believe I am. And most importantly- I can love even more that I thought I can! That love you are ready to sacrifice your life for.. That love that makes you come back home everyday impatiently to be with, even when that means you have to walk and take care of after a long exhausting day- you just find those powers to do it happily. That love that makes you change your plans to fit them, because their happiness is not less important than yours.. That love that on the right time, when you feel that the best thing for them is to let go, even if that means you're gonna break your heart forever, you still do it for them. I gave Beagle an injection on her heart when that was the last option we had after I fought for solutions with all my senses. When the alternative was her suffering and dying slowly in front of my eyes out of pain, because solving the disease was already hopeless and every moment from now on is suffering for her and 'satisfaction' for me that she's still there.. She died in my hands, in her home, just like she deserves. It took her heart 2 hours to stop beating and I felt those heartbeats slowing down with my whole body.. I will never forget those 2 hours.. But with all the pain, honestly, I felt lucky to have had the chance to thank her for the last time for giving me the privilege to learn so much about myself, and thank her of course for being my baby, my best friend, my safe zone, my secret holder, my sympathetic ears, and my partner in crime!

I got my baby Beagle as a birthday gift, and that was and still, the best gift i've ever got. Since that moment on my whole life has changed. This small creature opened my heart like nothing or no one else did before. And with this "little" change, the whole life perspective of mine has changed. Beagle taught me what patience and acceptance mean. She made me realize that fear is dynamic, and so are we. We can control it and turn it into power if we really want. Beagle made me realize that I am stronger than I think I am, I am more faithful to my beliefs than I think I am, I'm a better decision maker than I believe I am. And most importantly- I can love even more that I thought I can! That love you are ready to sacrifice your life for.. That love that makes you come back home everyday impatiently to be with, even when that means you have to walk and take care of after a long exhausting day- you just find those powers to do it happily. That love that makes you change your plans to fit them, because their happiness is not less important than yours.. That love that on the right time, when you feel that the best thing for them is to let go, even if that means you're gonna break your heart forever, you still do it for them. I gave Beagle an injection on her heart when that was the last option we had after I fought for solutions with all my senses. When the alternative was her suffering and dying slowly in front of my eyes out of pain, because solving the disease was already hopeless and every moment from now on is suffering for her and 'satisfaction' for me that she's still there.. She died in my hands, in her home, just like she deserves. It took her heart 2 hours to stop beating and I felt those heartbeats slowing down with my whole body.. I will never forget those 2 hours.. But with all the pain, honestly, I felt lucky to have had the chance to thank her for the last time for giving me the privilege to learn so much about myself, and thank her of course for being my baby, my best friend, my safe zone, my secret holder, my sympathetic ears, and my partner in crime!
