It was the Nurses ball on GH and we had the chance to get to know each other because of the time it took to set up scenes. We laughed, shared stories, acted all kinds of silly. Sonya was so full of life. She was so talented, funny, strong and loved her little dogs deeply. I am still in shock and saddened by the terrible news. 55 years old…Too too young. Tamara Braun Instagram - Two years ago in September I did a personal appearance to benefit the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation @srocf . @therealwildevry1 was one of the spokespeople for the organization and I was being skeptical and asked if the organization was legit and were the funds REALLY going to help women in need? He promised me they were and sent me a link to learn about the organization and told me about the woman Robin who runs it. “Okay, I’ll do it!” And I am SO happy I did. Not only did I have a wonderful time with that group of ding dongs I used to work with in the photo and seeing the fans but I fell in love with Robin, her pure heart and all she has done to raise funds for Ovarian Cancer research in Sandy’s name. Robin is GOOD PEOPLE. REALLY GOOD. So, I am asking for your help to support me do the Sandy Sprint on November 14th in Los Angeles. My friend who told me saw my shock, grabbed me, gave me a hug and I immediately started to sob. @nnekacali I cannot comprehend that you are gone. I met you when I was 29 years old. You stayed the same lovely person you were all those years ago. No matter what kind of stress went on around you at work you somehow always had an amazing ability to keep things together. You juggled a lot of responsibilities (more than you should have had) and a lot of strong personalities and you always kept a level head when most would have lost it. You NEVER did. So, she became family. Been fostering another sweet baby recently and if 3 wasn’t too much she would also become family. There are so many wonderful dogs out there that need loving homes. First and foremost I want to thank all of you for your love, good energy, prayers, well wishes and donations for my dear friend, my Lovely Lea, Lea Love. I can’t thank you enough. The outpouring of support while I was with her in the hospital warmed my heart so deeply, you have no idea. Love is all around. Many of you didn’t know Lea but you opened your hearts and wallets to help. Truly…no words can express my gratitude enough. If you made a donation to her GoFundMe page then you already know that Lea passed on July 14th. I just wanted to share with the rest of you the news. I couldn’t write until now. I’m sorry. I still don’t know what to write. She was surrounded by her 4 children and 4 of us women who were blessed to be able to be with her during her final days and moments. She was surrounded by love as she should be… she gave so much to everyone who knew her. Lea….such a force. A light. A marvel. A mother. A warrior. A friend. She was and will always be so very deep in my heart. A true gift she was and I will be eternally grateful for her and all the years I had her. I love you, Lea. Thank you for the signs. 🌻💗🐞
