After watching Dune 2 I was incredibly inspired by the amazing work from the team to conduct my own cinematic tests emplying the use of Unreal Engine. I made these tests back when the film was released in theaters and havent had time to share them. It was so fun to take a couple weekends and build out props and sets and light them and find interesting new ways of seeing things. I love having these total creative fits where I cant do much of anything but create and explore. Big thank you to the entire team on Dune for sparking the fire of muse. – Created using Unreal Engine. All images are captured screenshots employing Lumen with little to no grade (these are directly out of the engine). Some assets like characters are from the amazing team at big medium small. More to come…

Dune cinematic studies – Directly from @UnrealEngine – Growing up with comics and drawing with pen and paper… I never would have thought images and words like this could be conceived and manipulated at such a rapid pace. We are truly in a renaissance period where technology is merging with art and commerce. – Created using @unrealengine All images are captured screenshots employing Lumen with little to no grade (these are directly out of the engine). For these images I would quickly build a set or world and then add an ambient world light and then just stage and move and stage and move and continue this process for hours until I couldnt anymore. So fun! – Created using @unrealengine . All images are captured screenshots employing Lumen with little to no grade (these are directly out of the engine). Dune cinematic studies – Directly from @UnrealEngine – Here are the last of MANY fun stills captured while exploring the tools and lighting ability within UE. What a truly remarkable creative tool… if you know which buttons to press and when. The future is very bright to the imaginative curious story teller. Looking forward to the films, stories, concepts created in the near future. – Created using @unrealengine . One of the aspects of cinematography I love is finding that final threshold of exposure right on the edge of total pitch black darkness. I love when cinematographers play in this range, it leaves much to the imagination. My guess is sometime in the VERY near future… these tools combined with others will allow us to express and tell our films and stories with very little production friction… someday soon… – Created using @unrealengine . M.H.C. 28-29 – THE WHEEL – One standout element of this collection that holds a special place in our hearts is “THE WHEEL.” Exploring the possibilities of this component was an exhilarating journey for us. It marked a significant milestone in the evolution of Haste!. – Our goal was to reimagine the traditional racing wheel, infusing it with our unique aesthetic while retaining its fundamental usability. We challenged ourselves to simplify this iconic object, to distill it down to its essence, while injecting our personal taste and style into its design. – The result? A stunning blend of form and function—a piece of usable, functional art that not only captivates the eye but also enhances the automotive experience. “THE WHEEL” serves as a testament to our exploration of design, bringing us immense joy as creators and designers. – – HASTE!

The further I went into these worlds the more freedom I felt to just create very graphical high contrast images with sparce pockets of light that would lead the eye through the composition. – Created using Unreal Engine.
