Welp, as much as I hate to admit it the time has come to let Vroomhilda go. I had an accident when I was 18 and had to have my hand literally put back together. The doctors told me that the arthritis would eventually set in, but I refused to admit it when it started happening a couple years back. Unfortunately, it’s gotten to the point where I can barely grip the accelerator, and that’s just not gonna work. I have decided to try to re-home my baby, as I want her to be ridden rather than be a garage queen! This bike was completed by the one and only Bryan Fuller of @fullermoto to the absolute highest standards possible. While the asking price is high, it’s a fraction of what was spent to bring this bike to life. The listing is up on Cycle Trader now, and I’ll put a link to it in my bio and story. I’d appreciate y’all sharing it with anyone who might be a good fit. It breaks my heart to let her go, but Father Time has seen fit to make that choice for me.
@zeke.dezeeuw and his Dad @patrick_dezeeuw built the #zoiidmotorcycle with and for me years ago when he was about 12! It took a year or so but we debuted it at the #barbervintagefestival years ago but she has been sitting for too long. Recently we dusted her off and reunited 20 something year old Zeke with our creation again, and man was he excited. Funny thing is he had never ridden it back then he was worried about hurting it too much. He recently got a job @barbermuseum and is going to do some shakedown, tuning, and update so I can ride it for real this time. I needed to sample some new colors and clearcoat for projects today. While in the booth I used the custom blue to change the color on my 701 vitpilen motorcycle. It has 10k miles now and needed a fresh coat of paint so I’d love her again! We use the @lincolnelectric welding hood blanks to test with and eventually these will be custom helmets for folks or added to our color wall I’m collecting for. The @satausainc guns just work amazing!
Getting close to black! These @indasausa rhynosponges are awesome for lots of places in the bodyshop! So much work is behind the scenes of these custom cars and motorcycles but the results justify the means! Have a great week.
