Daniel Barenboim Instagram – Rehearsals for the Divan’s summer tour 2024 will kick off in a few weeks. Besides the intense preparation for the musical program, there will also be a series of workshops and discussions. These spaces for the deep exchange of opinions and ideas have been part of the @divanorchestra project since 1999 when @dbarenboim and Edward Said led the first workshop in Weimar.
The summer performances start on August 7, and this year @anne_sophie_mutter joins us as a soloist for Brahms’ violin concerto. The program will also feature works by Schoenberg and Schubert.
