David Göttler Instagram – As Aristotle said, “Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet”.
With goals and endeavours like alpine climbs of himalayan peaks in winter, it’s not so much the patience required in base camp, but the patience required over years and years to hit that elusive sweet spot of weather and conditions. I know how sweet the taste of rewarded patience is, even if I taste it only very rarely, so I am more than happy to be patient.
It’s part of the game and, for me, every bitter little pill to swallow is worth it.
