My book suggestion for this month!! This is by far my best read. I will now aim to re-read every year and I think once you read it you’ll realise why.
The Four Agreements by Don Miquel Ruiz
I have to admit that this book has already helped me to change my perspective this year through the way I think, speak, and react to life as well as my overall mindset. This is one of the things that I liked was the size. it’s small, so getting started didn’t feel daunting. So much so I didn’t want it to end and started searching more books I could find by this author.
1. Be impeccable with your word
2. Don’t take anything personally
3. Don’t assume- How often have you assumed something, or made up a story, that may not have been even close to what actually happened? The thing I learned was to seek clarity rather than making assumptions.
4. Always do your best- this doesn’t mean to always be perfect. It means to do the best you can in each moment. This will change daily, even from moment to moment. Your best is what you know at the time, and only you know what that is.
