Today I got another tattoo. Which on its own isn’t a big deal, except this time me old man came with. And at the ripe young age of 77, got himself one too. His 1st.
My little man has got the chicken pox or “superhero spots” as we now like to call em…. Not wanting to feel left out, I got him to draw some on me so we could be superhero’s together…. I’m Robin in this relationship. He’s the dark knight. Not that that was ever in question.

Tradition means I always leave a bottle of fizz in the fridge for that good news that’s coming, that good news that’s already here. Every time I open that fridge door & see that bottle it reminds me to be grateful. This week I signed off on something worth drinking for. Not that I need an excuse. THATS A WRAP!! The ONLY thing better than working with people you admire is being invited back to do it again….. and again. My 2nd time working with Harlan Coben (Safe, Fool Me Once) & my 3rd time working with Nicola Shindler (Butterfly, Safe, Fool Me Once). Two people who are savagely hungry & talented at delivering entertaining content to the masses; two people that are insanely approachable & generous with their time regardless of the titles they wear, I thank yis… To the whole of production, the cast & crew for inviting me to dance with yis all, I salute ye. Lastly, massive kudos to Michelle Keegan (me leading lady) for always bringing that good energy to set… every single day. Despite lacking in the talent & looks department she still managed to smile. Today we celebrated Ocean-Torins 3rd birthday. A birthday polluted with his friends & ours….. it was an astonishing day, made only by everyone who turned up & showed their love. Means the world to us. Huge love to everyone except @antobyrne75. Who got him this. Fuck that guy. 🖕🏻

Having a window of 10days between filming scenes, my man Mr. Dimitri & the wonderful crew at Nuffield hospital Chester managed to fit me in for some savage and quick surgery on my leg. My legs have taken a battering over the years. Broken, bruised & torn from the choices i made….so it wasn’t a surprise that I had developed a busted vein so big it was too dangerous to ignore. Before I went under I asked Dimitri if I could see the vein & squish it once he’d removed it. He was professional enough to politely decline my wishes…. The request on retrospect probably sounded weird. Normal for a Scanlan though. Thanks again to the crew at Nuffield who took great care of me all night. Peace and love to yis all. Scan
