Kenya Barris Instagram – Exciting news for Kim Kardashian fans! She has inked a first-look agreement with 20th Television, the production company behind AHS and All’s Fair, for limited series, comedies, and dramas.
“Group Chat” Kardashian’s first endeavor under the multi-year deal, features her longtime close friend La La Anthony. Kenya Barris, the creator of Black-ish, will star as the lead character in the comedy, which is based on Anthony Bourdain’s best-selling book “The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex, and Happiness”. Group Chat is a co-production between 20th TV and BET Studios, where Barris is a senior partner. It is currently in development for Hulu.
Anthony and Kardashian are executive producers. Through his Khalabo Ink Society, Barris serves as executive producer alongside Adam Kassan of the company.
