Kilian Jornet Instagram – And we are off!
We took an early start with @philippbrugger to climb Piz Bernina (4048m), the easternmost 4000 meter peak in the Alps, located in the Swiss Engadine valley.
We ran and climbed 29km with 2573m of elevation to the summit round-trip, in great conditions, before getting to the start of the first bike link-up of the adventure.
After that, I cycled more than 210km solo with almost 4000m of elevation through some iconic mountain passes, to reach the next stage of the adventure through my own human power.
After dreaming about this project for a while, it feels so exciting to be on the move!
