My first attempt at making a cake. It took 3 days. I was stressed. It came close to failing. I will never scoff at a $90 cake again. But nothing can beat the look on his face when he saw it! This is an annual event in our household from now on.

About 15 months ago I cut my booze back from around 30-50 drinks/mnth to 3-4/mnth. Mostly thanks to an adventure retreat with @adventure365_ being surrounded by everyday people who happened to run ultra marathons and triathlons. @andrew_pap_ had a Cold Water Immersion session on the itinerary and since then – this has been my new go to after a big day or even before one. I’m hoping this has a positive influence on the boys rather than watching their Dad lean into a beer every night 🍺 **I still love a beer! – only now it’s for different reasons. 🛀- @thedopehq 4 deg for 4min 👊

Wilson’s Prom – the Disneyland of hiking in Victoria. I’m always surprised of how many people have never been there! This hike is 2.8km each way (uphill) but definitely worth it, even with the kids strapped to us. Not to mention the 2.5m bronze whaler shark we saw swimming about 30m from @jessicaleewilson1 & @darcie.alderwick. Good times all round @scapestruct_landscape @visitmelbourne @australia
