The GoAP is forming a Task Force for Economic Development of Swarna Andhrapradesh @ 2047 with intellectuals & industry leaders as its members. I’m delighted to announce that Mr Chandrasekaran will co-chair this Task Force. I’m also pleased to inform that Tata Group has agreed to be a partner in the Centre for Global Leadership on Competitiveness (GLC) to be set up by CII in Amaravati. We explored the opportunity of setting up Tata Consultancy Services development centre in Vizag, enhancement of AP’s air connectivity with Air India and Vistara, and various other partnerships across multiple sectors. #MakeInAndhraPradesh

Today, I met with the weavers of Andhra Pradesh and admired the devotion with which they keep the rich tapestry of our heritage alive. Our government is committed to helping the weavers’ community overcome all challenges and restore the glory of the handlooms of Andhra Pradesh. A new handloom policy, GST relaxations, promoting APCO, providing health insurance, and developing handloom clusters are some of the steps we are prepared to take. We will also open up newer markets for our weavers through ONDC, expanding the scope of their business and bringing further recognition for their beautiful craft. P.S. I also brought two sarees for my wife on the occasion.

ఈ నెల 15 నుండి ప్రారంభం కానున్న అన్నక్యాంటీన్లకు శ్రీలక్ష్మీ వెంకటేశ్వర డెవలపర్స్ సంస్థ రూ.1 కోటి విరాళం అందించడం అభినందనీయం. ఆ సంస్థ అధినేత విజయవాడకు చెందిన పెనుమత్స శ్రీనివాసరాజు నేడు సచివాలయంలో ఇందుకు సంబంధించిన చెక్కును ఇవ్వడమే కాకుండా రాబోయే ఐదేళ్ల పాటు ఇంతే మొత్తం లో విరాళం అందిస్తానని తెలపడం హర్షణీయం. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయనను మనస్ఫూర్తిగా అభినందిస్తున్నాను. పేద వాడికి అన్నంపెట్టే మంచి కార్యక్రమం మళ్ళీ ప్రారంభిస్తున్నామని తెలిసి అన్ని వర్గాల వారూ అందులో భాగస్వాములు అవుతుండడం ఆనందంగా ఉంది. తమకు ఉన్నదాంట్లో కొంత సమాజం కోసం ఖర్చు చేయాలనే వారి ఆలోచనలు అందరికీ స్ఫూర్తి దాయకం.
I had a productive meeting with a delegation from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) headed by its Director General, Mr. Chandrajit Banerjee. We discussed the establishment of a Centre for Global Leadership on Competitiveness (GLC) in Amaravati by the CII. The Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) and CII are planning to establish a GoAP-CII Industry Forum to implement the recommendations of the Taskforce on Economic Development. Additionally, we will focus on enhancing the skills and employability of the youth of Andhra Pradesh through initiatives like the CII Multi Skill Training Institute (MSTI) and CII Model Career Centre (MCC).
Today, I met with a delegation of the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) led by their Chairman, Mr Adil Zainulbhai. I’ve asked the CBC to help establish a global institute of good governance in Amaravati. The GoAP shall sign an MoU with CBC for employee training. I’ve also asked the Chief Secretary to develop a training policy and form a task force to monitor progress. Our goal is to train our employees in delivering people-friendly governance using advanced technologies like AI.
