For the “Last Honey Hunter” which was my first still assignment I had talked with master editor @sadiequarrier about ways not just to capture the honey hunting action but also a sense of place of the small village of Saadi below the Himalaya in remote eastern Nepal. One concept was trying to shoot every single member of the village at 85mm on the same backdrop for a big grid that would fold out in the magazine.
