At 11:28 AM this Friday, our team at Kaikai Kiki will be test-opening a Japanese-style hometown Chinese restaurant.
Since this is a test, we will be trying out our prices, flavors, and other elements, so please bear with us.

Why am I opening a town Chinese restaurant in Asaka City, Saitama Prefecture?
1. A small restaurant called Dairakutei Kitaguchi run by the Ito brothers and Mr. Machida, known for its delicious gyoza and which I had been visiting for 20 years, had to vacate the premises due to a new credit union being built on the site.
2. The pandemic further strained their business, leading to continuous financial difficulties, and the three of them decided to close the restaurant rather than relocating to carry on.
3. Three weeks before they closed, I happened to visit to eat gyoza after two years of absence and heard about their situation. I suggested that we collaborate instead, and they readily agreed.
4. I consulted with Mr. Hamakura, the producer of Ebisu Yokocho, about the interior decoration, and we are now going to open the restaurant anew.
Currently, Mr. Arimura from Kachiarai is assisting with internal operations. We plan to gain insights from the test openings and proceed to a grand opening.
