As far as days are concerned it doesn’t get much better than this! Epic turnout for @city2surf with the energy of 90,000 people breaking a sweat together! Endorphins were flowing! Thanks to my little cheerleaders, I wanted to stop but also was on a mission to beat my time… and thanks to @onepeloton for the support and getting me conditioned for the run with the Peloton Tread! I was averaging over 6 min kms on the flat, so pretty happy with 5’30”kms average this year! We’re just under a week out from City2Surf! I’ve gone from 6.5 min/km now into the 5’s with intervals in the 4’s and I owe a lot of it to this girl, the Peloton Tread! Having different trainers to push me has made a big difference of the sick tunes and scenic runs… Enjoying running consistently and have definitely found a little more spring in my step! Guys I wanted to intro you to my training partner, it’s sexy, has impeccable timing, and it’s my secret weapon training for the City2Surf… It’s the Peloton Tread… With all the rain and Dad duties, i’ve been smashing out plenty of 30 minute runs with a Peloton instructor pushing me through intervals and sprints etc, I’m doing scenic runs like parts of the NYC marathon and there’s also this City2Surf training class to get your conditioned for Heartbreak hill. My main goal is to enjoy myself this year but also see if some consistent training can get me to the end a little quicker without even noticing… @onepeloton PelotonAd
