🩵 Remember your childhood dreams… And this little light was one of mine:) Thank you, Dash, for being my initiator and my teacher. When we gaze into the eyes of our children, we are simultaneously gazing back into ourselves, because time and separation of consciousness are ultimately a temporary illusion of the lower realms. What a wild experience… …being human:) If you too are a parent, one thing that happens in our journey is this: when we haven’t freed ourselves from the traumas and pain that we endured in our own childhood, those energies will come to the surface when our own children reach the same age. The same age we were when the original trauma took place. Making space to focus on healing these stuck pain points and moving this energy means that we take responsibility for our own healing. It means that we don’t pass on these wounds and burdens to our own babies. Because WE were courageous enough to walk back through those fires ourselves. That’s me. And I know that’s you, too. Let’s go, family. We’ve got this. Come join our workshop on August 15th if you’re ready to do the work. Link in bio. 🩵 ……. 📸: @meganwelker

💕 As I’m in a deep process of clearing in my life and home, I thought it would be fun to share the boys’ and my top 10 favorite children’s books! …and maybe a few tears as I recognize and honor that this phase of their childhood has come to completion. 🙂 What are some of your favorite children’s books? I’d love to hear! Share in the comments! #booksforkids #kidsbooks #whattoread

♥️ The second slide is a picture of me at 18, playing Animula, the feminine soul of Franz Kafka in a theater production at my college. (Honestly, I probably got the role because I was the only student who could convincingly still play a child 😆) While at the time I was just focused on the acting experience, I later realized that this character was likely a representation of Kafka’s “anima” when I went on to study Jungian psychology and archetypal work. 🧳 And the suitcase probably represented the box of shadow material we all try to nonchalantly drag along behind us, pretending everything within it is neatly tucked away and not weighing us down. One of my favorite ways to work with others on becoming free is by opening this red suitcase together. With love. SO MUCH LOVE. 🎶 ✨ Inner child work also allows us to bring in the elements of PLAY, music and somatic work to make this unpacking even gentler, fun and at times even delightful. I’d love to invite you to come to an online workshop with me and @_jessica.amos_ to laugh, to cry, and to heal together in community. I’ve been exploring the human psyche and how to free it from distortion for decades now. Making “Junebug” has helped me figure out how to bridge these worlds of mainstream art and inner healing and I’m incredibly tickled to see it all come together this way. I hope you’ll join us:) We begin next week — link in bio 💖
