Balreet Mann Instagram – I had no plans to buy a new car, but a few months back, I saw a blue BMW M2 parked at the gym and it just captivated me. I told myself I’d get it next time, but the itch never let go. I did my financial calculations, and although it was slightly short, it was still something I could afford comfortably at the moment. Plus, since the usual booking time for the car was about 3-4 months, I knew I could save the shortfall by then.
I shared this with my grandfather and father, and they graciously offered to cover the shortfall. With that sorted, I contacted the @bmwkrishnaautomobiles , only to find out it wouldn’t be available for at least a year. I test drove the BMW M340i but it didn’t quite feel right. I checked out other cars within my budget but none clicked.
Then, I reached out to my friend @arun.bbfitness , who connected me with a dealer in Hyderabad who had a blue M2, but that deal didn’t work out either. Eventually, Krishna BMW found a red M2 in Bangalore and I finally booked it.
My first car back in 2004 was a red Maruti 800 and I really loved that color. It feels amazing to be back with one of my favorite colors.
Sadly, my grandfather passed away peacefully on the 6th, and he never got to see the car. It would have been so special to give him a ride in it.
But I love the car, and it’s a reminder of the journey and support that got me here. 🚗❤️
