8 years ago during one of my training camps @izzystylewrestling comes to me and says, “You gotta meet one of my wrestlers. She’s 12 years old and she’s something special. She’s gonna do it, Holl. I’m telling you.” And that day I met @kennedyblades who has become my training partner, my friend, and a massive inspiration to me. She stands now as your 2024 Olympic silver medalist at just 20 years old!!!! I could never really explain how proud I am of her as words are never enough. She’s a truly special individual inside and outside of competition. She’s accomplished what most can only dream of and done it with grace. Scariest part is…. She’s still got a whole journey ahead of her to do it even bigger. That Suplex highlight is just a touch of what we will see in her future🔥. Enjoy this victory Kennedy! You are so deserving of this accomplishment. Be proud! Take it all in!! ❤️ and Izzystyle- thank you for the belief you have in her and so many others to follow their dreams. This sport has brought me one of my greatest friends in life. Michelle, you are a champion both in and out of the arena. You have a determination and fierceness about you that is contagious to everyone. You stand on your beliefs and embrace the true YOU. You are a the example of a loving mother, devoted wife, selfless teammate, and loyal friend. You are 1 of 1. There is no one like you. In the highs of your life you’ve always stayed grounded, and in the times that were tough, you always handled it with grace. This sport is entertaining and so intriguing because of the unknown. It’s being fully vulnerable yet having the courage to face it with confidence. You are a warrior, a badass, a spark plug that ignites any room you’re in. Thank you for sharing your passion and life with the world. I’m one of the lucky ones that also gets to know you behind the scenes. Not only are you my teammate and friend but my sister. I’m so proud of everything you’ve accomplished in your career. Fighting the top 10 fighters in the world for nearly a decade. Just an appreciation post to these men right here. They have been helping me through countless training camps over the years and continue to push me.
