Not a day goes by that I don’t acknowledge the sacrifice my dad made taking my mom, my brother and I far from the dictatorship my country faces.
It’s heartbreaking and challenging to leave what you know behind…family, friends and a beautiful land.
It’s always been my mission to speak about my roots, my culture, my Venezuela.
There is a lack of Latino and Hispanic representation in Hollywood and it’s an honor to be carving out a path of visibility from Canada🇨🇦
This moment in my career was monumental.
My first Comic-con getting to celebrate the hard work my Star Trek family delivered in ‘Section 31’ with a cast FILLED with diversity!!!
SO grateful to be a part of this world 🖖🏽
I will forever speak on what it means for me to be a part of this industry
For all my displaced latinos, all the immigrants and women of color that never grew up seeing themselves on screen….THIS is for you❤️✊🏽
I pray for a FREE #Venezuela today, tomorrow and until the day we have liberty and I am able to return to my home country and safely hug my family and friends🇻🇪
