Sometimes I forget that I live in one of the most interesting and exciting cities in the world. So on my days off, I tend to slop around at home. But this morning, the youngest and I decided to get on the tube and see where life took us. We started off @vinegaryardldn flea market near London Bridge which had great vintage clothes, had empanadas at Borough market, then chanced upon @oldoperatingtheatre museum with its herb garret (photo 2), Victorian operating theatre (photo 3) and all manner of interesting exhibits, including a “cervical dilator with eight prongs” (photo 4) which brought tears to my eyes. Basically, just imagine Edward Scissorhands delivering your baby 😩 Then we had a cold drink overlooking Sir Francis Drake’s boat The Golden Hinde, popped in to the Paddington experience gift shop, walked along the river (14,000 steps to be precise) had a beer on Dutch barge @tamesisdock with a view of the House of Commons then finished up at Battersea Power Station to get the tube home. Loved it! Wherever you live, get out and see your nearest town/city. You never know what you’ll find! #london

When my hair starts to look like spaniel’s ears I know it’s time for a trim. My hair is fine but there’s loads of it so poor old @nando.magusimoes was scissoring away for ages to get it back in to shape. But voila (swipe) I’m short and sharp again and best of all I don’t have to brush it. I just ruffle it up with my fingers and it falls in to place. Today’s @loosewomen outfit is trousers from @me_andem and fine knit jumper by @massimodutti @daisylawstyle @mothershoppers @richardwardhair
Lots of wiggle room in this ‘throw on and go’ summer dress from @marksandspencer with buttons and puffed sleeves. @loosewomen @mothershoppers @donnamaylondon
Couldn’t decide on a colour for today so went for all of them! Dress by @yasapparel and shoes are from @topshop a while ago. Today’s show is only half an hour so join us on @itv at 12.30 and have a great weekend @loosewomen @mothershoppers @lperriton @daisylawstyle
And how was YOUR day? We had a right royal laugh @loosewomen today as we each donned an iconic look from Her Majesty The Queen’s incredible life to pay tribute to her unsurpassed 70 years on the throne. Royalist or Republican, you can only admire her sense of duty and work ethic. So let’s all enjoy the bank holiday weekend and raise a glass or two in her honour 👑👑👑👑 🥂🥂🥂 And a big shout out to the behind the scenes team who made it all happen for today’s special. We couldn’t have done with without you. @mothershoppers @daisylawstyle @lperriton @donnamaylondon and everyone in production and on the studio floor. I salute you.
A photo dump from a fun weekend @thebigfeastival with @alexjameshq @claireneatejames and various friends, kids, delicious food stalls, great DJing by @thewhitmore (and dancing by @otimabuse )and @simonpegg and acts on the main stage including the superb @johnnymarrgram and @snowpatrol. Yes it rained a bit and yes I had a stinking hangover from too many margueritas (cocktails not pizzas) on day two, but it was worth it. Hope you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend wherever you spent it.

Who doesn’t love a bit of leopard print? This dress by @ro_and_zo is super comfy too. Shoes by @mintvelvet Have a great weekend everyone! @loosewomen @mothershoppers @makeupcouk
Where am I? Answers on a postcard…
I feel like I should be doing a karate kick in this outfit, but I don’t want to put my hip out so…if you’re looking to stand out at a summer BBQ or even popping to the shops (why not?) this is very light and comfy to wear. Dress it up with heels, dress it down with trainers. One piece from @mango and navy wedges from @hobbs @loosewomen @mothershoppers @makeupcouk
A tight, stretchy frock that doesn’t crease is a good staple for any wardrobe and this one from @thisiswhistles is perfect. I love the puffed sleeve detail too. Take a close look and you can see my control wear poking out too 😂 Shoes are old faves from @office but this dress could be worn with hells, wedges or trainers. Love it. @loosewomen @mothershoppers @peneloperyanbeauty
