Jane Moore Instagram – Sometimes I forget that I live in one of the most interesting and exciting cities in the world. So on my days off, I tend to slop around at home. But this morning, the youngest and I decided to get on the tube and see where life took us. We started off @vinegaryardldn flea market near London Bridge which had great vintage clothes, had empanadas at Borough market, then chanced upon @oldoperatingtheatre museum with its herb garret (photo 2), Victorian operating theatre (photo 3) and all manner of interesting exhibits, including a “cervical dilator with eight prongs” (photo 4) which brought tears to my eyes. Basically, just imagine Edward Scissorhands delivering your baby 😩 Then we had a cold drink overlooking Sir Francis Drake’s boat The Golden Hinde, popped in to the Paddington experience gift shop, walked along the river (14,000 steps to be precise) had a beer on Dutch barge @tamesisdock with a view of the House of Commons then finished up at Battersea Power Station to get the tube home.
